I REALLY like the weather they added, though it would suck to have an electric artifact and get zapped by lightning because the artifact would most likely disintegrate you. But i could be wrong, you might get a one of a kind super artifact, and oh mny ive gone off on a tangent.

@Droogie128 I think is the way that people play it and see it. Fallout 3 is an very open world, u can do almost everything u want, but it is not even close to reality. But Metro 2033 is an very good adventure game, but it also gets annoying by the time. See, i played the game only once, cuz the single player is like 5 hours playing on normal. Fallout 3 is like 4 days of playing. Sincerely i like both games a lot.

this is the first stalker im plaing i have SoC but i never played it... its took me a lot of time to understand this game, but now im playing it, its not too difficult once u understand stalker's world...

at least u travel light i usualy am 10 KG below the 50KG limit because i cary a lot of ammo and medical supplys my inventory looks something like this 500-1000 rifle rounds 70-150 shotgun rounds 35-50 medkits 45-75bandaids 30antirad medication 5-15 steroid bottles 5-15 of each red resist/chem resist/psy resist total weight 40 to 43KG :) I have started carring les rifle ammo limited it to a mas of 560 :)

@arkos12117 Well, although the games came out in this order: SoC-CS-CoP, the story from CS happens before SoC; and CoP after SoC but I recommend that you play SoC before CS especially if you have little or no experience in Stalker games.

P.S. CS is not even near as good as SoC, and CoP is way better that both of them in my opinion.

Wow. Your weapon choice is most unusual. I can't believe you sold that shotgun. Most of the weapons you had was a lot better than what you had, but you beat it none the less so I can't question your skills. @Desimor Hey, bro, it's not what ya got, but how u use it. I myself prefer the scoped G36, but if smb likes an AK better, let them use it. Oh, and try to clear out a tunnel full of ghouls in FO3 with only a Combat Knife. THAT'S a challenge ;D Good luck and very happy ammo to you.

I believe that the zombies are just people under mental/psychic control, just as the original term zombi referred to a body under magic control. I have not reached anything in-game to prove this, but seeming as they can still use their guns and are not mutated, it seems sound. Can anyone verify or refute this? I'm really interested in the back story of all of the enemy types in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Zombies in Stalker are people who have had their higher brain functions burned out, typically by the Brain Scorcher (a man-made weapon) or Controllers (lethal psychic mutants). Though cut from the original game, the damage eventually worsens to the point that they can't even fire their weapons.

Because you have to wait for the emission to end. If it catches you in open space, it kills you.

@gome900 As soon as the emission starts, the nearest hiding place appears on the map. Usually it's a house or a bridge or a camp or anything that can protect you from the emission. There are some rare drugs though... If you are caught by an emission and you know for sure that you can't reach shelter in time, you can use these drugs and you will survive the emission.

I've finished SoC 2 times, CS once and CoP 5 times. Last time when I completed the game before doing the walkthrough, I wrote down each and every mission in the proper order and every place where to go and when and what to do. Then when I started recording, I was playing and reading from the paper where to go and what to do.

I never played at the hardest difficulty but I think that the only difference between hard and easy is that on hard you take a lot (and by a lot I mean A LOT!) of damage from enemy gunfire, mutants and anomalies.

unlike the other two STALKER games I have found you can shoot stashesup in trees and other high places with the shotgun preferably, and they will fall down. so far the pipe one is a mystery unless the pipe has a breech somewhere and it's inside it.

You didn't figure out how to get the stash from the pipe? I wanted to show that in this walkthrough but I forgot... you have to climb on the hill next to the pipe and run very fast and jump on the pipe. There's only one place where the pipe is low enough and the hill is steep enough in order to be able to make the jump.

There was a bandit dead bandit exactly where the stash was so i took everything from him and when the mark was still there I thought it was just a glitch lol. Thanks though :D

Just found how to get to it, it's on the pillar holding up the pipe. Just follow it north until you can jump up on to it then follow it back.

How can the game your playing with perfectly good streaming video on my computer cause it to lag? The only lag you can get off a video off of youtube is when it has to buffer (which really isn't considered lag). It lags a lot at the beginning part of this video but then stops later on for some reason or another. like from 0:00-0:09 is VERY laggy.

Thats not lag its choppy fps performance hit. Its DX11 cmon stop complaining. Vista was choppy as fuck for a while and crashed games when using DX10 very high shaders. Give it time.. patches will come out it will mature. Its not such a bad chop anyway.

i think i read somewhere that the engine doesn't utilize multi core for the stalker games, I have clear sky ,a 3.4 quad and 260 gtx oc'd and i still get some frame hits down to about 30 in high action with the draw distance up.
