I notice at the beginning you mention you found a tab which you felt was more "correct" since it had a G chord in there. p = play on...just put one finger on the 3rd fret of the string and one on the 2nd and play the 3rd fret and let go of the finger on the 3rd fret while still holding the 2nd fret (simple) although it sometime sounds better to flick the first finger off depending on the song.

I am having problems hammering the E note on the 2nd fret. I looked it up online and it told me to pluck the string and then put your finger on the 3rd fret E string. But it doesn't sound right or come out the way it should.

nylong string guitar will have the same notes, just a little different sound, but not enough to notice a difference, you need to make sure you are tuned down a half step

nah thats not normal, go get it looked at. make sure your strings are in the groves at the top of the neck

For those wondering, Drop D (which this isn't in) is stadard tuning with your 6th string (biggest string) tuned down a whole step to D instead of E. For this song, if your guitar is in standard, tune every single string down just a half step. I noticed so many people asking about the tuning so figured id comment.
