i agree with you there Ronnie should moved out cause he was old enough too then this killing would not happen I read somewhere he did try to leave but his father made him come back if he was afraid of his father she got help for him .

No heroin doesn't, but many people use opiates to quell existing, undiagnosed mental problems. Ronnie may have been suffering an organic mental problem that was causing hallucinations and he was using heroin to self medicate the symptoms.

Well Ronnies addiction and his actions most likely caused the evil aura that hung around the Lutz's house after the Defeos departed. I say no creepy poltergeist haunted the Lutz's out of the house. It was Ronnies, dark actions that painted the house with negative energy, that fed off the family. Thats why the so called HAUNTING was affecting Mr. Lutz and not the rest of the family. The spirit of the ill girl was only made up by Hollywood.
