You can do better than sprinkle onto the cookies. With simple piping skill, outline pictures onto the cookies and had it coloured with icing then top with little of the sprinkles. Check it out on 'Easter cookie decoration' video.

This video was obviously intended for the home cook. Why would a professional Pastry Chef go to youtube to find out how to pipe and decorate cookies? You're merely trying to draw attention to yourself by criticizing ONE of many possible ways to simply fill a piping bag.

You then cut the end off and voila...you dont even need to throw the bag away cause it stays clean!!
Youre right. i tried the cup thing and it completely sucked. i got icing on me just trying to get the bag out. it has unnecessary steps with it.
i dont know why these people are taking comments on a video they didnt make so personable. if she thought it was a problem then your comment would obviously have been removed.
plus, it is harder to learn things the wrong way and have to go back and relearn things the correct way.

I always wondered how those screw things worked. I threw mine out, cause I didn't know what they were for, ha ha! Now I have to go buy some more. Thanks for the info. This is the first video on frosting that actually taught me something new!

1. A glass is not needed.
2. The back of the piping back should be twisted and held down with the thumb. The other 4 fingers apply pressure to the piping bag.
3. You cant apply pressure from the back of the piping bag. IMPOSSIBLE. Only on the side.
Pastry Chef since 1991. I know what I am talking about in case anyone wants to attack me with dumb remarks.
