Say you buy an FPS or something every 2 months. thats 60 bucks. 2 months of an MMO is 30 bucks.

Theres no to little anticipation because not many people know about this game. Plus is kinda looks like a shadowfall knockoff besides of the ability to have quests

Might not have that many followers, atm. But I belive that the fan base will grow as soon as Darkfall hits beta and later on release :)

Most of these online games made by unkown people normaly dont peak 10,000 subscribers so I'm not sure this will do so good

Ever heard of EVE? Guild Wars? I could drop alot more names. The Darkfall forums have 43,460 registerd peoples and ALOT have signed up for clan beta.

A game like Darkfall that have open PvP, full loot, 100% skill based etc. have been waited for since UO2 was canceled.

I have no doubt that Darkfall will bring in players. =)

I never heard of EVE and Guild wars wasent made by unknown people it was made by people who didnt like the way WOW was turning out and quit the project to make Guildwars. I own guildwars and it wasent like poeple described it infact it was boring as hell and there arent all these PvP options people keep talking about

Guild Wars is very boring. But it was made by a new formed company.

EVE Online achieved a record for the maximum number of simultaneous players online with 34,420 accounts logged on to the same server.

I have no fear that DF will fail. Cause it wont =) You should try it out when it comes to beta at least =)

The Company was new but the developers werent, they used to work for blizzard until they quit. The developers of this game are unkown and no one knows about them. EVE is probebly like another runescape I bet. Also how could I get into the BETA?

If you aint in a clan, then you need to wait for the single sing up to start. That sign up will starts just before bete will begin :)

Stay the fuck away from Pirates of the Burning Sea. I dont know if you already know this, but I just wanted to warn you its WoW featuring pirates... and apparently fairly good ship combat. But meh, take or leave my advice.
