I remember once, sitting in the backseat of a car with my grandma and grandpa, driving somewhere, not sure where... but they said "There's an overtaking lane up ahead" , to which i said "OVERTAKING LANE YEAHHHH!!!!" from the back seat. Puddle lane would have been my favourite tv show at the time.. i would have been about 3 or 4 years old. And i think this is one of my earliest memories of life.
I remember they replaced this show when I was tiny. I spent the next couple of years waiting in hope that they'd put it back on the air. They broke a little kid's heart the day the took it off the air!
I came across purely by accident whilst at college in '87 - Woke up - bleary eyed and flicked the tv switch. Instantly hooked as any work shy student would be - it became the high point of my Thursday mornings!
Cant believe you found this man , amazing , ive searched this coz i was bout 2 or 3 when that came out it takes me back to a time , which feels weird coz i remember parts.
Well you are quite right but you got the Griffle and the Gruffle mixed up, the Gruffle was the monster that was red and looked like a dragon and the Griffle was the monster that was green and looked like a lion with long ears.
I used to run home from school to watch this at lunchtime. Why I am sitting up now, at 1:am when I have work in 5 hours really does raise some questions
I remember being devastated, age 13, when my mum sold all my Puddle Lane books at a car-boot sale! So much nostalgia...can't believe she got rid of them.
he's not doing a good job with that paint job..thats what you get for singing the 'slapdash' song.. :)
