That looks so fluid and natural and like you're really enjoying playin it with absolute ease- been checkin out your other vids and every one is better than the next... :o) What kinda Bass is that you're playing there??? It Looks as good as it sounds.
@afriendcalled5iive Cheers mate, its not my best vid, but some of the slap work went well! That bass was a AntonioTsai bass and not bad at all. I'm selling my current Status bass, so if you are after a bass, let me know, you won't get better for the money
Great job- I really dig the tone and vibe- you're really funking out, which is cool. F*$% the naysayers that bitch about millions of notes and triplets- I've found that most people that make negative comments like that make them out of jealousy or feelings of inferiority. Again, f$%* them!
God damn it! i´m so sick of the triplets..Christ grab a valium dude don´t overdo it all the time!!! Agh!! And dont blame beeing an ex drummer again....
Thanks Fred, though I'd still like a proper amp - just using hifi speakers at the moment! But I'm getting the best out of them :) Thanks for the comment mate, really appreciated.
Great playing! This line requires a lot of endurance playing it agressively like you did. Seems no problem for you :) I really need to figure this one fully out aswell, i stoped halfway learning this line.
Aggressive has never been the problem for me - until my arm gets tired haha! The trickiest bit is the finger section in D, its not a hard riff, but for some reason I haven't quite nailed it in front of the camera - fine when its not on! Would be great to see you do this one, my version of 88 needs work too, and thats a tough one for finger work too!!
Cheers mate! I would have preffered to have done this on my old status, the elecs were a bit more responsive! I didn't play the finger section perfectly (its cold here in the UK now and so is my garage!), but its not that a hard a track to play, if you do want to learn it, go for the original version, its slower with less of Mark Kings trademark showing off (which I love!!)
Thanks for the kind comment, its still a brave song to cover - for anyone :) I'm glad you think it was a success

Thanks Frank, if people want to listen to bass players who like triplets and faster playing, don't listen to Level 42/MK covers!
Cheers for the comment and compliment

triplets are fun! It's one of tracks where even the great MK does about the same amount of them :)
I can't help but overdo things on my vids, once I plug in the bass it seems to be a automatic reflex ;)
No valium for me - maybe some red bull and coffee ! My thumb might explode!!

Great improv around this Level classic, and up to your usual high standard
Good to see you've got a string endorsement. Well done!

thanks mightyhartley! Its of those tracks I had to do! And the backing from 94 is great - Gavin Harrisons solo is terrific!
Thanks about the string comment, mate, if you are after cheap light strings, they are the cheapest (How I got to know abaout them!!)
Cheers for the comment :O)

Man, that's fu***ng awesome !
I love your tone too. And if you allow me : your amplification did you justice. Only my 2 cents.
Keep it up !
