  • Hey fuck you man! You're an asshole!

  • I like xenosaga over most FF games namely 7 6 X and XIII.

  • to me one of the best final boss themes ever

  • one of the best RPG i've ever played, Xenosaga Trilogy is awesome!

  • best final battle song for any game....

    this should be on radio

  • Man, this song was such a breath of fresh air after hearing the normal battle theme during the whole game.

  • The xenosaga series opened my eyes and taught me a lot of things about human nature and philosophical meanings.

  • fuckin epic!

  • god,,i'm kos-mos fans from indonesia. and i was regret, when i start to love xenosaga. the trilogy was end.

but i'm promised,i will collect all of mp3 wallpaper game etc

if there someone can help me to collect all about kos-mos. please send email to me.

  • Does that girl have a clitoral orgasm?

  • @rucia85z9 Only if you're careful.

  • the good memories...

  • Albedo hands down my fav dude.

  • david stream (thecreativeone) took me here

  • @thefantastickone I found it! He told me lol.

  • If you listen carefully, you can hear the same "theme" from Xenogears slipping into this track, specifically from the opening and the song "Omen".

  • @EinherjarLucian Same composer

  • @berserkpsychopa Do I get to have sex with KOS-MOS?

  • @xen05z ಠ_ಠ

  • Sounds like Kingdom Hearts ost

  • @zloidz It doesn't really. Kingdom hearts had a much bigger score interms of number of performers and the way it was written. Does something quite different and writes thematically where this does something different. Still great, but different.

  • I Never realized that this song held themes from the battle music of all 3 games! AMAZING

  • Is it just me, or has the entire soundtrack from the Xenosaga series been stuck in my head for the last several years ^_^

  • @vault3000master not just you

    same here with me

  • @Shin9384 It's hauntingly addictive ^_^

  • @vault3000master Exactly and specially if you loved and finished the game..you can never forget such an awesomeness Ost ^^

  • @Shin9384 Both of the composers were very talented. Too bad they will never be involved in the Xenosaga series anymore, considering the 2nd game's sales were so low that they had to discontinue the series when the third was done.

Six games intended for the series would have been epic indeed, such a tragedy they couldn't.

  • @vault3000master Yeah thanks I know about this ..but what I dont know is how such a great game had such a low selling rate !!! its too sad there will never gonna be another XS because of this :((

  • @Shin9384 Because the designer decided to drastically change the character models and voice actors for most of the characters in Xenosaga 2. He got greedy and thought this change would make it better, wrong.

So many fans of Xenosaga were disappointed in the second game because there was just too much of a change from the first game. Sometimes, change isn't a good thing. The only good thing that came out of #2 was the music and some of the storyline.

  • @vault3000master that kind of make sense but still the 3rd Episode were as great as the first maybe even better So again its unbelievable!! I guess Also there as the other side effect of the Story many People complain that its too hard to understand so they quited buying and playing the game because of that!!

  • @Shin9384 Yeah, b/c the 2nd one was bad for most, the 3rd one suffered as well in sales.

They crammed all the unanswered questions in the storyline into the 3rd and that I think overloaded a lot of people like you said. I'm probably one of the few people who understood the game the first time, mainly b/c I really had to pay attention to details to remember it all in one go.

I think another factor is that Xenosaga is famous for lengthy cutscenes, not a lot of people like that. I do though ^_^

  • @vault3000master I see.the story is realy hard to understand if you do understand it.. you 'll find how great and deep it is .... I liked the game because of the battle system it was and still amazing for me..thanks for all the clear up you know better than me about XS ^^

  • @Shin9384 The biggest impact for me was the mixture of originality added with the use of religious references. It's actually rather impressive that they bundled so much story into one game and actually did a good job of it. The storyline can't be beat by another game, not one.

Yeah, the battle system is great. They could of, however, gave them more special attacks to work with, that would have satisfied me more.

Hey no problem, i'm just an ordinary Xenosaga fan.

  • @vault3000master i thought so too. It's a wierd game to the common eye but a genius one to the people who spend time to analyze the story and themes. It's a shame this series didn't get the recognition it deserved.

  • @Dantethedemon16 Well said. A rare gem amongst a sea of pebbles I might add.

  • @Shin9384 The developers eventually realized that their change from 1 to 2 resulted in low sales, so they had no choice but to compact the storyline of 4 games into one and end the series at Xenosaga 3.

  • When this music first started I was disappointed because I knew I was at the end of the game.

  • Understood, Safety Locks disabled proceeding with maximum output

  • There are very few "final battle" songs in videogames that really give the fight meaning; IMO the final battle music needs to be the one that makes you think while listening to it that everything rides on this battle, and it's do or die.

This is one of those songs. It sounds like the fate of the universe depends on victory, and failure isn't an option.

  • Can someone tell me,why is the Subtitle of Xenosaga "Der Wille zur Macht"?

It's german and it means "The Will for Power" I wonder why it's german...D=

  • @Valnar123 all three subtitles for all three games are reference to Friedrich Nietzsche's concept to his philosophy in other words they reference his work

"Der Wille zur Macht" - "the Will to Power"

"Jenseits von Gut und Bose" - "Beyond Good and Evil"

"also sprach Zarathustra" - "Thus spoke Zarathustra"

  • @rosepassion96 Those are some pretty bad typos...

  • @Valnar123 Albedo refers to "the power of will" right before he fights you...that could have something to do with it, but I'm not sure.

  • We have some legendary music right here.

  • What ever happened to Yasunori Mitsuda anyway? =/ His music is just as awesome!

  • I have a cuestion, the mankind travel all the universe and dont see any tipe of other live???, of course the gnosis dont count....

  • @ Briantzerox

Wow where do y get dat ability? The only tech attacks dat do 1000 damage is shion's lunar blade, thermal blast, and spell Ray. Kos-mos are R-dragon, r cannon, and x- buster

Jr are moonlit seranade, storm waltz, and mistic nocturn sry if I missed spelled dem

  • The boss was a bitch to defeat

Especially when it does Dark Omen cuz it does atleast 900 damage

I use Shion, KOS-MOS, and Jr. to kill him

This is one of my fav boss themes

    1. Ganondorf final battle OOT

    2. FF7 boss theme

    3. Xenosaga ep 1 final Boss

    4. Dot Hack Infection Skeith theme

    5. Ganondorf final battle WindWaker

  • @XANJUXx i used kos mos shion and momo to beat the final boss it was kinda easy lol

  • @XANJUXx

This battle is easy when all of your characters have Brave Soul, AP + 1, and the ability to use two Techs in a Row. ^^ I can get MOMO to do around 5000 damage at around level 46/47.

  • dat ass

  • When I listened to this, around 0:50 i started thinking,

"Holy SHET. What game is this?! I want to play it NOW!!!"

  • If anyone's interested, this song is sort of a rearrangement of the main theme of "One Who Bears Fangs at God" from xenogears. I <3 Mitsuda

  • You sure KOS-MOS looks like that?

  • @princessZelda089 That's KOS-MOS from the second Xenosaga after she's remodeled, I think she has 4 forms if I'm not mistaken.

  • @Geass300 5-6 if you count her Swimsuits. lol

  • @princessZelda089 Xenosaga Episode II. Yeah, I know, they screwed it up. But Episode 3 was the best looking of all.

  • One of the most underrated and under-appreciated game series of all time. This has happened all too often:

Person in Forum: Looking for a good RPG, any suggestions?

    Me: The Xenosaga trilogy.

    Person in Forum: ...Xeno-what?

    *facepalm*

  • @fwehbulous Meh, I would say it started good but I grew to dislike the 3rd xenosaga quite a bit. I enjoyed the gameplay regardless of story through the entire series though.

  • @toktokk666 Really, I always thought the second was the worst, with the third rekindling what was good about the first while also adding some nice aspects. But the story got REALLY ridiculous regardless.

  • @toktokk666 Still, there was always something to find entertaining, even if the plot didn't make a lot of sense.

  • @fwehbulous the only thing i hated was there were times where you needed to level up to beat a main boss or you couldnt win and there were no grunts to attack to gain exp

  • @fwehbulous

next person in forum: play final fantasy 1-14 and your life is gone^^

  • @zephihero Lol yup. right there with ya.

  • @fwehbulous Personally, I think Xenosaga III is quite possibly the best game ever made.

  • Ah this brings back some good memories.

  • he also did Hack Tsubasa chronicles and pandora hearts music soundtracks. Anymore?

  • @CheeziChicken lol tons more....xenogears, chrono trigger, mario party, the NEW Xeno game called Xenoblade on wii, luminous ark, Legaia 2, Bomberman 64...All just to name a couple..lol

  • I was massively disapointed that i can't use Megazord in XSII

  • Xenosaga Series. Games for always remember...

A love much Xenosaga Episode III, especially the soundtrack, one of the best of RPGs ever...

  • If you listen to this track carefully, you'll hear overtones from the theme of Xenogears

  • this sounds soo much like the Dragon God music from Chrono cross.. beautiful

  • I think you can practically judge an RPG by its music.

I think Xenosaga 123 are the best PS2 RPGs.

    FFX has rubbish music.

  • @CaptainFussenpepper

u dare to mock nobuo's work???

  • @fadedsouljoker well it had three composers and not all of it was bad. I doubt Nobuo had something to do with the humorous death metal song.

  • @CaptainFussenpepper

lol u mean otherworld?? haha ok thats pretty much rubbish i agree

  • @fadedsouljoker otherworld is epic>_> but i guess ur entitled to your opinion

  • I wonder what caused the to skip it it would of been my favorite rpg series if they did all chapters or episodes what ever there called

  • There were disputes with the writers and people leaving the project u know "POLITICS" It cut down a phenominal series. XENOSAGA 1-3 Were all tremendous especially part 3 it was EPIC

  • u make it sound like ur dissing this game. DO NOT dis Xenosaga In front of a BUNCH of fans.

  • nnnnn-nope, it sounds more like threads of fate-reunion, i like instrumental final themes like these ones

  • Good music. Good concept. Too early of an installment. Should've been PS3 nevertheless it was alright. Still like Xenogears.

  • Gah, it's a shame the art went in that direction. Sure, I may be in the minority with thinking that KOSy turned ugly in the third game, but what happened to Shion in JvGuB didn't even make sense.

Suddenly she just doesn't need her glasses anymore, not even for reading.

    Bah.

  • No, where I said "third" I meant second.

  • Apparently Namco skipped several parts of their original Six-story long project to bring the series to an end. Maybe the gap that should have existed between 2 and 3 would have explained that.

  • @DBoyNasty Actually, the original script was ripped to shreds, even with Episode I. Apparently the prologue scenes were supposed to make up the original Episode I. However, the rest of I and all of II and even some of III took place during the events of Chapter 2, with the end of III being some of Chapter 5.

  • Ok. Thanks for letting me know.

  • whos JvGuB?

  • Jenseits von Gut und Böse.

  • @sulu6 It's german for Beyond Good and Evil, a book by Frederick Nietzsche - Each of the Xenosaga games are named after books of his, Xenosaga III being called Also sprach Zarathustra(And thus said Zarathustra) after one of his most well-known works - and is mostly responsibly for popularizing the phrase "God is Dead"

  • I disagree that the KH OST is terrible, but Xenosaga's (excluding Ep2, that made my ears bleed) is definitely better.

This is amazing final boss music. People may not think so because it's kind of quiet and soft, but it's a welcome, emotional difference.

  • sound like some final boss music to me i havn't cleared the 1st game yet because i cold not beat that giant monster...

  • this is the final boss music in Xenosaga :)

  • is this from kh? i never finished my game...

  • No. Kingdom Hearts OST is horrible. This goes for the other KH games too.

  • ....OST? like i said i never finished part one or two.

  • OST Stands for Official/Original Soundtrack.

This is from a game called Xenosaga. Understand =P?

  • i think so..

  • @Milanoir

I thought the OST for Kingdom Hearts II was just brilliant. So high energy and melodic.

  • @Milanoir

I thought the OST for Kingdom Hearts II was just brilliant. So high energy and melodic.

  • I was kind of dissapointed by how easy the last boss was. And I felt cheated that it was a random Gnosis, and not Albedo. I wanted to kick his sexist butt all up and DOWN the screen.

  • lol

  • I was kinda thrown off when I first heard this music playing for the first time, but it fits with the last fight well.

  • This reminds me of Chrono Cross

    ( at least the begining)

  • that's because it was created by the same guy who did cc

  • thx Didin't know that

  • Thats because Yasunori Mitsuda composed the soundtracks for both Chrono Cross and Xenosaga.

  • AND Chrono Trigger

  • @Bulbaneen I LOVE YASUNORI MITSUDA!!!

  • @DeathIIV me 2

  • This is pretty epic. Reminds me of Lost Kingdoms.

  • the voices is what dose it but it dose sound like lost kingdoms

  • kupo

  • love!

  • pimpin

  • Thanks so much for uploading this; this song rocks. ♥ And to me, it does sound like a last battle song. From 1:01 - 1:21 of the video, it reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. X3

  • yeah it kinda does, huh?

  • It was either XS1 or 3 that was by the same composer as Kingdom Hearts i think

  • I LOVE THIS SONG !!

  • Gregorian chant, minimalist arrangement, beautiful violin/piano melodies , and a sick beat! too much to LOVE!

  • for some reason, it sounds like a battle soundtrack for like a kingdom hearts game. and it reminds me alot of roxas. lol, dunno why ^^)

  • Well the guys who made this game originally were employees at Squaresoft which is now Square Enix which made Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, so it makes sense.

  • that wouldn't solve anything, the music and the company are not one in the same; it has to do with the composer.

  • but the people at the company would likely have similar tastes to congregate so, and the creators of the game have some control over the music, so it does mean something

  • THIS is a last boss music?!

    0_o

  • FAFAGOT

  • @Ibecamethedragon FUCK U FAGGOT

  • @RebirthWoWGuild Fuck you dude, youre gay for calling all of this gay.

  • Funny, i don't even remember this music. Must have been too focused to care about the background music. A shame really, its good stuff.

  • Does anybody know the composer of this?

  • Yasunori Mitsuda

  • Yes, Yasunori Mitsuda. He also did the Chrono Cross OST. He's amazing!!!

  • He also worked on some of legaia 2s soundtrack.

  • AND he did Xenogears, of course!! Can't forget that...

  • um i kinda have episode 2

and i kidna beat it already

  • Dammit this makes me want to play Xenosaga and Xenosaga 3 but its impossible for me to do so........T__T.

  • that's funny, you left out Xenosaga 2 XD

  • Thats because Xenosaga 2 was released in England but no:1 and no:3 wernt.

  • oh, i see. that sucks bad, they're really great

  • Dammit im missing out on 2 great games its a load of bull shit how only Xenosaga 2 was released in England and no:1 and no:3 wernt because i know lots of people in England that are itching to play the games.

  • actualy he can still get them online from namco but it will take some searching

  • what is that

  • I kinda know how you feel becuas I have all the Xenosagas but my number one faverit is the first one and for dome reason my ps2 dosnt play it

  • hey there stranger, my brother got xenosaga 1 and it does'nt work on his ps2 too, but xenosaga 2 works though......

  • oh i think i know the problem. first were did you buy the ps2

  • if you got a uk version of the ps2 then xenosaga 1 wont work you need the american version of the ps2.or you could get a converter chip to make your ps2 play internatinal games oh and make sure you get the us version of the xenosaga game other wise it will be in japenies

  • I always felt it sounded a lot like the final Lavos battle from Chrono Trigger... (Chrono Trigger - Lavos Final Boss Battle Theme)

  • ... i can see the similarities... but i dont think so...

  • This track is fabulous. I love how the soundtrack of Xenosaga has a Celtic twist to its futuristic feel. This track totally sums up the entire game: starting off slow, methodical, and placid, then shifting more and more intense, then ending like a great orgasm (hee-hee). The only bone I have to pick is the piano in this song sounds remarkably similar to the final battle song in Final Fantasy X... Oh well. Great piece; great game!

  • Comment removed

  • I've never beaten this game, I'm really close to the end, in that city but those monsters are fucking HAAARD!

  • i never beat that part 1st reason is "i still haven't been able to find the damn game in stores" reason 2 is "my mom wont let me shop online" so I'm fucked!

  • I!

    LOVE!

    THIS!

    SONG!

    =D

  • ooh im using this song on one of my pivot

    videos

  • i played it and i beaten but i just cant beat xenosaga ep2 cuz there is this one chick i have to fight thats a pain inmy ass and every time i get her hit points close to beating her she beats me and cheats if u can help me that would b great

  • Do you mean that blond lady who says this is a confessional and always says repent your sins pig.

  • Uh, what's her name?

  • Her name is KOS - MOS.

  • If you mean the blond lady I was talking about it would be Orgulla. If you talking about the picture on this video its KOS-MOS. Which supposedly means Order and is a Japanese flower.

  • I was talking about the blond lady, I replied to it but I guess it didn't go as a reply to that. Thanks. I haven't played Xenosaga episode II in a while.

  • you mean that woman with the laser sword? Have you beaten her now? If so, please tell me what level you were on or strategy you used? Because im stuck there too!!! Bitch can hit pretty damn hard.

  • Nah that one boss where it used those horrible attacks if you used a certain attack on him took me enough tries, only to see that the monsters inside the city kicked my ass instantly D:. Probably going to have to start over, oh well, I need to understand the story better anyways.

  • Well, so your on the first game, maybe I can help, since I beat the first one a few weeks ago. those monsters in the kukai foundation were more of a annoying than hard to me. if you need help, just ask me.

  • What level do you recommend I should be on for that part? and is it too late to go back and train more? or is there a certain strategy to killing them?

  • try level 25-29 I was around that level. Also have shion on your team. shes a great healer. I think you can go back and train more. go back to the durandal, and go to a place that you know you can level up safely and fast, maybe the last fighting ground you were at. And maybe have KOSMOS on your team, since she can take hits almost as well as an AWGE.Also increase speed on your tech list by using tech points,so you dont have to wait 2 turns to use specials. Increase the WAIT on tech.any question

  • O yes I almost forgot. The boss at the end of the fighting on the city is going to be a pain so fight hard and once the monsters in the city are weak enough to kill with not much of a struggle go after the boss. BE WARNED: ONCE YOU RESCUE ALL THE PEOPLE, THE BOSS BLOCKS YOUR ONLY EXIT OUT OF THE CITY.
