I disagree. For the type of movie that it was (i.e. not many movies are done like it), it had emotion. You forget that a main theme of the movie was that is was a coming of age for both of them - each in their own way. They were finding their way. It was not done in a really great way but it was there. Yes, the music was good.
There are many, many movies that I have seen which had much less emotion than what 'wild orchid' did. That is my opinion. To each their own though.
