well Nicholson was more of the joker of that time period cause they mostly had to rely on the comics but heath just had more to really work with when it came to them i mean honestly i would of loved to see Nicholson with the same amount of material heath had then it make it really hard to choice between them but Keaton is by far the sapiror batman

I think what Keaton made the best Batman (besides the underneath lying dark sadness) was you understood his deep inner need to become Batman from time to time. He did not do it to be a hero, he just did not have any other choice.

Loved both Ledger as Nicholson: just two very different takes on the joker, but both very interesting and convincing in their own right but nothing beats the first two movies, mainly thanks to Burton/Keaton.

Actually, I think Ledger's going to do a great job with the Joker. When I saw his face in the trailer for the first time, all those years of me finding the Joker laughable died, and were replaced by a chilling terror.
