thankyou Bow!! :)) Paul Celan was born in Romania and from Jewish descent. his parents died 1942 in a concentration camp. I think he's one of the most remarkable poets in german language from 20th century. he had a liaison with Ingeborg Bachmann, who might be known better in the states! cheers!!! ;o)
Wonderful song set to this great poem!! This right here is why I listen to youtube!! Cant find stuff like this on the radio no more, Great song/poem!!
Wow now that's beautiful music!! This song has me drifting in space or floating down a peaceful river on a raft! It's so dreamy and haunting Andreas my buddy! You wrote music to Celan's words? It fits so beautifully my bro!! :)) Your guitar playing is phenomenal,I love the picking and it's so beautiful a melody! Love your singing too,you have a really great voice, very sensitive like Lennon's was in his Julia. :)) I loved it and totally enjoyed it!! All the best always my friend! :))
hey Rick, it's so nice that you have such a poetical feeling towards it, I really enjoy your kind of listening!!! it reminds me, that the reception is the half of the piece, it would have no home without that! yes it's Celan's poem melodized. as a 20th century poet he has quite another language than the poest of former times! thanks so much for listening! ;o)
Another beauty. Always you bring something to think about along with the wonderful sound of your voice and instrument. I am glad to know you and share your lovely music.
I really liked this. It held my interest.

Special lyrics and specially put into a song... I really like the bareness of it: just a guitar and a voice, with no reverb ;) thank you!
