When u are suspected of committing a military crime you do not get a civil trial. You go to JAG. And our military laws vary from our civil laws. Not an expert or anything kist sayin.

If he did sue, would he do so pro se or would he look to the international courts for support? Say the IC took on his complaint. Do you think the courts would hold the US accountable? @tommysch Two reasons: he is a foreigner and bringing a cause of action against the US military is hard to do, even if you have tangible proof (McCarthy/Army). It is a complicated and complex issue. If he did sue, would he do so pro se or would he look to the international courts for support? Say the IC took on his complaint. Do you think the courts would hold the US accountable? There is no precedent and he is one man. His story is tragic, but until that place is closed, this will continue.
