the new generation of Batman themes are good. Danny Elfman's had the majestic, operatic tone. These are haunting. Batman is just that versatile.
Now lets hope that Arkham City has as epic a score as the Dark Knight does. Arkham Asylum showed that Batman games can be treated with the same respect as other forms of Batman media.

I couldn't get enough of the joker. I mean, Christian Bale was good, but Heath Ledger just stole the movie, the other cast members didn't have a chance of being recognised with a performance like his, shame he died, this was is crowning achievement. :-(
@Guffington I agree. Personally (getting ready to be flamed) but I didn't really like Christian Bale's performance as Batman. Somehow he just seemed to fake, with that coarse voice and all. I know it can be argued he was trying to disguise his voice, but still I dunno just didn't like it that much. But yea Joker was awesome.
@13lackLight Yeah I originally thought it was someone else playing Batman, I just couldn't connect the voices. Perhaps it was some sound effects or something, it was quite hard to hear exactly what he was saying, the voice he put on made the words unclear. Anyway, it was still an awesome movie, I loved it. :-)

Tim Burton's films are not and Joel Schumachers aren't even worth a mention.

Batman comics are stupid, if I wanted a friggin comic I'd go read one. Burtons MOVIES are the best! There's no arguing in that. Batman Begins and TDK are just designed to make people feel disgusted and horrible.

If you don't know the source material then you really have no business critiquing anybodies interpretation of batman. Nolan's adaptations are of the closest resemblance to the source material.
Tim Burton's films are not and Joel Schumachers aren't even worth a mention.
You don't even have to look any further than Bruce Wayne who Burton portrays as a sensitive caring person, when's he's actually a self absorbed super douche.

Yeah, your absolutely right. I watched TDK 3 nights ago and enjoyed it, still...accurate or not, Batman 89' will still be the one I love.

The final part of the track was used on the trailer. It so cool. But I think that part had enough potencial to be a whole theme by itself.

chris nolan nails batman. this is what batman was made to be, a dark corrupt world with only one hero and that hero is someone who dives into the shadows hell he is the shadow. shadow of Bruce Wayne. i really wish Chris Nolan doesn't end batman with 3, i hope he goes for a saga with 6 batman movies. batman is too ig for 3 movies, and his movies are too epic for 3 movies alone.

were not even sure if chris nolan is even going to do a third one,so far his concentration has been on Inception,his new film. He's been real hesitant to confirm anything bout a batman 3.
