  • I have that same exact computer, except my hard drive failed.

  • I have a 5 1/2 year old desktop that needs memory. I just bought 4Gs from you at HP via phone. Do I remove the old memory module to make room for the four? Also, there is cat fur in my computer. How do I safely remove it, can I vacuum it out? Thank you!

  • @85nikki96 try use all new and yes its safe to vacuum just be careful you dont cause a static discarge or suck the entire pc into the vacuum

  • my hp cpu beeps when startup is there a problem with its ram?

  • @1990Olloccin Beeping at startup generally indicates a problem with RAM...sometimes the video card can cause it as well. I would suspect the RAM first. Try pulling one module at a time and restarting each time to see if you can find the bad memory module.

  • @1990Olloccin Try just switching places. same slots just a easy switch. had that prob with my previous pc. just switched and had no problems after that.

  • hey someone help me i wanna change the sdram to my computer.

my computer is a hp pavilion 8756c Pc-125. my ram memory is 128mb and i want to put a bigger ram memory does any one knows where i can get a 512mb or knows a link so i can buy it please help.

  • @SADBOY805CALI youtube doesn't let me post links into replies, but you can try w w w . crucial . com

  • Hey look. I have the exact same PC

  • @xBDArts memory is RAM... not whats downloaded and installed... thats a hard drive so yeah memory has nothing to do with it

  • @TheiPortal You are correct. I wasn't sure if it was a trick question. Technically, there are some things like system settings or file configurations that can change as a result of adding memory. For example, if you have a 32bit OS that has 4 GB RAM already and then you add another GB, you would have the same PC just with more memory in the slot but not usable by the OS. Also, on some PCs you can allocate memory to graphics, which could change how your software acts with the new configuration.

  • @xBDArts I don't understand the question. This video is about installing memory...so theoretically, if you install more memory then you won't have what was on your PC before. Instead, you'll have more memory.

  • I like how you explain the blue and black slots... no other "how to install ram" video I've seen does that. They just say " throw them in those slots over there, and it should work"

  • do u hold onto the metal frame with one hand the whole time while installing ram with the other hand...?

  • @208stroker1 You don't necessarily have to hold it the whole time. Mainly you just need to do it before touching anything inside the PC.

  • @howto4u ahh ok bro..well i did install last week and all is well thanx to ur vid..

  • @208stroker1 cool. Glad you got it working.

  • yes 2 black sluts. Done.

  • @scus55 Alriight.

  • thank u sexy man

  • "look at that, 4GBs, SUCCESS!"

    I lol'd.

  • quick ram, 2-4-8-(16)gb sd, works as well install the sd, right click set the booster, easy and efficient for computers with a fair amount of sd slots. If you format the sd before you add other stuff you can use the extra space for files and folders. Although you have to leave the sd in the computer.

  • @bizkitboi0327 Original Equipment Manufacturer

  • Hi, is there a reset button on that PC?

  • @codehazard I don't think so, there's only power buttons and the basics.
