  • Ray Stevens is one of a kind....

  • its funny how the lady who plays margeret is in almost all his videos hahaha

  • @OsakaSmallFry: actually, Carol Ponder is the woman playing Fatima in this video. Janice Copeland was the actress that played Margaret in "It's Me Again, Margaret" as well as Sister Bertha in the "Mississippi Squirrel" video.

  • I love Arabs and I love this.

  • calling an Arab an a-rab is to them like calling a black person the N-Word.

  • @diddymuck To quote Joan Rivers: "Oh! Grow up!!"

  • @diddymuck - Back then the world wasn't into political correctness. Not saying it's right, just saying that's how it was.

  • @diddymuck

He is from Georgia and that is actually the way half the population in the south pronounce it, kinda like they say EYEtalians. It is a southern thang

  • @diddymuck

    So what?

  • @diddymuck i'm fairly sure they don't give a shit WHAT we call them since we're all infadels to them anyway bro

  • Okay. This was one of favs - 7th grade. Watching the video, I see why. Great video - so clear, music digitially mastered. Thanks for posting.

  • Don't you just love Ray Stevens!

  • @we3peepsrawesome I REMEMBER THIS BEING PLAYED EVERY DAY ON THE RADIO WHILE GROWING UP GREAT STUFF THANKS RAY STEVENS FOR THE MEMORIES

  • I love this song, but I think I know which version kitekunisaki2000 is talking about... It's the one from the "Ray Stevens Collection." That recording of it is my favorite.

  • if you tell me Ray Stevens is seriously not a Shriner I prolly wouldn't believe it..lol

  • i cant find the newer version any where :( oh well atleast i found this one :D

  • @kitekunisaki2000: By newer version what exactly do you mean? Ray wrote this song and originally recorded it in 1962 and then he re-recorded it in 1969 and then re-recorded it a third time in 1995 which is what we hear on this music video. There have only been three recordings of this song from Ray. If anyone else has recorded this song then it's news to me.

  • hilarious music video. I first heard this song back in the mid-late 1980's when my grandfather purchased a Ray Stevens "Greatest Hits" cassette tape. That collection from 1987 is where I heard several Ray Stevens songs for the very first time. I became a fan for life at that moment.

  • @ACcountryFan My grandfather also purchased that same album and that's when I was first introduced to him. I still have the tape here in the house, although, I just about wore it out.

  • Better quality than the one I dropped !
