Ratchet and Clank: Tools of destruction seems just like a rip off of Jet Set Radio and Sonic Adventure 2 (grinding on rails in a platform game) and Pixar movies. Nothing's changed- if you want to look for something original, you still look to Sega and Nintendo.

I am being purist here - I don't criticise Banjo Kazooie for being in debt to Mario 64 but I think that Banjo Kazooie is a more pure 'abstract' classic type of platformer in its level construction and fairytale-like themes. I just don't go overboard on games that look like sci-fi action cartoon films and I think that the high percentages the game got might not entirely be agreed with by 'old school' platform game fans .

Its like everyone with a ps3 and a Xbox 360 want to be force fed Halo Call of Duty and Resistance. I don't have problem with them but we already are over crowded with shooter games so whats with all the sequels? Ratchet and Clank is a shooter but it is also a platformer that actually has some creativity with there games. While Resistance look like it took off of resident evil or some zombie movie. The wii is becoming a shooter they need a game that made people want a wii like SSBB.

dude nicely said! I gotta say the most important thing about a game would be the character developement and story and gameplay too. I dont even really care about graphics and seeing abunch of stuff happening at ones in a war game i like this stuff with such creative and imaginitive characters and creatures. Plus the background during gameplay rocks.

Yup I bought have going commando, UYA and Deadlocked so far I'm trying to play UYA but gamestop sold me a shitty used one the doesn't go to the main screen.

I don't even like playing shooters on a video game console I prefer a mouse and a keyboard which is better with aiming and and controls with Call of duty I have to push the anolog to the right just to go to the left and down to go up which seems pretty stupid which is why I have to camp around or sneak towads them.

awesome. I love the older games on the ps2 too. That sucks you should definetely get a better copy of Rac UYA its worth it.

And i agreee with you the controls bug me. I guess if you get used to them its okay but its not just call of duty. alot of 1st person shooters are like that. and some times it changes controls for different parts of the game. I love playing 1st person shooters on pc though. :D it also feels more realistic to me.

The sad thing for me was me and my cousin where playing Resistance multi player mode and I thought we where playing Halo cause the Chimera weapons seems so similar to the ones in Halo I can't tell any difference from all of the call of duties they all seem the same. I keep asking whats so great about PS3 no one could come up with a good response samething for Xbox360 my cousins cause you can go on the internet with it I said to him your computer is right next to your ps3.
