I can see my opinion won't be popular here, but I like the drum. I've spent a lot of time playing with it, and I find that I can get the sound of 12 different drums for the price of one. I've spent a lot of time switching between both drum heads and playing with the tuning. For something that's very portable with variable tuning in every configuration, I'm quite happy with it. I'm not going to give up my real congas, bongos, or my djembes, but I think it's great product for what it is.
I was thinking of buying this for my classroom as a shime daiko. After watching this there is no way I'd do it. You can't play with a stick, and all the sounds seem to be the same regardless of what tube you use. They said you could get a shime AND a hira daiko sound? Impossible. I'll stick with making or buying my own drums.
@todei79 Like I said, asshole, no one asked for your retarded thoughs on anything, so wht don't you go suck your boyfriends cock, you limp dick faggot.
@jeremydalejon making angry homosexual accusation's makes further proves my point. You little boy, are an insecure traumatized fool. You need therapy and maybe a book or two. Expand your vocabulary fool. The drums still sound horrible. I hope you own a set and are reminded of how terrible they sound every time you play them. Lol idiot.
what happend to the good ol' fashion goat skin hand drum? say they sound the same all you want, the still doesnt change the fact that they dont, given it may sound similar but its no original, i have both a remo synthetic and a toca goat skin djembe and i can deffinately hear the difference and the toca takes the cake as far sound goes, when it comes to natural vs. synthetic
just too expensive. not worth it.
