  • DIC must have bought out Filmation after Filmation went out of business in 1989, while Hanna-Barbera were bought out by Warner Bros. It is probably why the New Archies, Archie's Weord Mysteries and the New Adventures of He-Man were produced by DIC. Now DIC is now bought out by Cookie Jar Entertainment.
