The movie or play was written as a comedy drama bc tho it has some funny parts it was at a time when WW2 jus ended and alot of ppl were becoming communist, nazis ect.

Instead of saying everyone is turning into communist or Nazis they used rhinoceros to prevent negative publicity! But there is definitely and underlined message here! Plus tho Zero was an extraordinary actor both stage and screen, he comes off as strange and almost creepy most of the movie don't get me wrong great acting on his pa

Yes, the play is much different then this movie. Even my drama teacher admitted this was horrible. You should definitely try out, the process is so much fun because you get to experiment with the different ways the rhino's take over the town.
