I'm currently using an A500-02f and it came with the face recog. software. The thing is this thing is so inaccurate and unresponsive that every time it comes up automatically I just say "fuck it" and type my password which takes me, literally, less than a second. I hope they update it with new wizardry, so it becomes more practical.

In my opinion, using Asus' smart logon, Lenovo's, and alienware's facial recognition is more efficient. The recognition is just a mere 5x5 screen that takes recognizes your picture rather than simultaneous scans at the bottom like the ones in the video.

couldn't you just hold a picture of the person in front of the webcam and thus "hack" in? That's why I have an HP, with a fingerprint reader.

Nope- that's why you're originally measured at all angles, so that a 2D photograph won't work.
