  • I hope this isn't one of his private lessons.....VERY expensive 40 hours @700-800 an hour...not including instructor.

  • it costs a lot for heli piloting school ? any one ?

  • @pantirippa3, Anywhere from $45,000-$120,000 USD to go from nothing to a fully rated pilot. That might not include a turbine transition which is what this video is showing. I'm $30,000 dollars into it and I'm almost instrument rated.

  • On ne vois pas le decolage !!!!!

  • Ahh no landing :(

  • I fucking wanna be a helicopter pilot

  • 100% instructor - a very pedagogical approach. Don't think much of the little model on the top of the instrument panel though - distracting.

  • Reminds me of how bad I was taking lessons in a helicopter.

  • piloto jet ranger 206

  • Where did you fly?

  • expensive training machine

  • great video!

  • I love this Helicopter...I had a flight in it and it was the best flight ever

  • everybody needs a hood ornimant.

  • Francisco Aceves bosteza con este video

  • I thought the little heli ornament was pretty sweet, too, so I went looking for it. :)

Do a Google on "solar wooden craft", and look for the site made in China. :)

  • yea i want one for christmas!

  • sweet thelittle Heli on Panel!

  • Is that a little toy helicopter on the instrument pod? I would think that a bit of a distraction to someone trying to balance the cyclic, collective and the rudder pedals into balanced flight.

  • It would be distracting if youre a moron, and are not capable of doing more than one thing at a time

  • Nice vid. Is it me or did that seem rather rushed? Were you cramming in some practice before your checkflight?

  • piss off. rotory>fixed by a long mile

  • Whats the yellow thing ontop of the instrument panel?

  • that is not the best economical way of getting your helicopter rating I would suggest purchase a Rotor way Scorpion helicopter along with four other people (that means you own 1/4 of the helicopter) and do flight instruction in that instead of wasting all of that money. Would you rather spend 50.00 an hour or $600.00 an hour in flight cost. Depending on the helicopter you rent.

  • yes that should be enough but you'll only have a sign off in a jet ranger and no real experience.

  • Nice lesson.. would have loved to hear the instructor's commentary though. About the instructions themself, the instructor sometimes reached to your stick, doesn't he/ she has his/ her own set of controls?

  • Thanks are very interesting.

  • well done m8!

  • Yeah, I suggest going and getting a fixed wing license first, then going in and get ur Helicopter license. SO much more cheaper, its what I'm doing

  • how do you know that, flying a helicopter is copmplrtly diffrent, you have no idea how many hours you are going to spend.

Just a challenging questions, i am going to make a decison, what are your thoughts

  • expensive hobby!

  • how old do you have to be to get your license i want to get mine but im 15 now. and what would be a good paying job after. you get your licence.

  • What is that small helicopter over panel?

  • stress relief for trainee

  • ah i remember my first flight the feel of the collective pitch in my hands lol

  • wow!!!

  • You get 60+ hours in the 206 and get paid for it just go to the US Army flight school

  • how do they determine if you qualify for pilot before signing up

  • First you need to qualify for OTS. If you already have some helicopter flying experience and have a degree, you'll be a step ahead for getting a pilot slot.

  • what is the age limit? i have pilot license. but never quite finished school...

  • Well.. u can't really be an officer without a degree ... and only officers fly. The age limit i belive is 27, maby a little off for the army, im in the air force and thats the cut off age. There are waviers tho if ur damn good at flying

  • are you talking about the U.S. Army?

  • No, im talking about the Air Force, in the Army I belive Officers and Warrent Officers are allowed to fly.

  • ya thats what i was going to say...You're right, In the Army you need to be a warrant officer or an officer to fly but you don't need a college degree to be a warrant officer

  • Turbine training as far as I know runs about $1100 - $1200 dollars per hours and in Newfoundland you need 5 hours and if I'm not mistaken in other places you may need 10. A little bit costly to say the least!

  • I bet Jetranger training cost a fortune ! Easy Finanacing or not, it still has to be paid for eventually lol

  • beau petit vol
