Yep. I'll bet that's exactly how that hypothetical match would go. The best option QB would sit back in the pocket and pass all day. Sure. Yeah, yeah. The same team that lost to Notre Dame and only scored 18 points on the previous years' Nebraska team would score 42 on the same team that beat Miami 24-17 in the Orange Bowl. You bet!

Exactly Florida States defense contained and made nebraska's option impossible to run. Do you know who invented the option?? Bobby Bowden at West Virginia, Now he's a seminole so he knows more about the option than Nebraska

That is incorrest. The Option was invented by Bill Yeoman at Houston with the Houston Veer, which Bowden took and ran at West Virginia.
Lets see FSU take on 1995 Nebraska. You would get hammered.

@thelegacy250 i will put 99 fsu against 95 nebraska ANY DAY !! even in nebraska FSU 99 takes it... many people dont realize 99 FSU was only at full strength for half the season. before that shopping scandal, FSU had peter warrick and laveraneous coles at wide out and was dropping 40 points a game on EVERYONE they played, they had the first and second stringers benched by halftime . not to mention the # 1 defense in the nation with warrick as front runner for the heisman, and a tougher schedule

Yes Florida State is an incredible team, (Not so good this year) They beat the shit out of the Mormons IN UTAH and after that every game hahaha
