what i always hated was it kinda looked like she was backing away before he kissed her, as if she didn't want him to kiss her :'( this scene really touches me. poor seiya. if usagi doesn't want him, i'll gladly take him :P

Mamoru had gone to the United States to study abroad, but for some reason wasn't responding to any of Usagi's letters that she would write daily. What actually happened was that - SPOILER!! - Sailor Galaxia had attacked Mamoru's plane and stolen his Star Seed, effectively killing him. Usagi doesn't learn this until near the end of the series... but the very end of the series is a happy ending :)

you have obviously have not read the manga and if you have then u watched the anime first i assume. because once youve read the manga you will fall in love with mamo-chan.

@xNutritiousxNatiX Excuse me but I have read the manga. I read the manga before I watched the anime. I still prefer Seiya over Mamoru. And in my opinion Seiya and Usagi make a better couple. You obviously prefer Mamoru and Usagi together, thats fine and you have a right to your opinion. However please respect the fact that I have a right to my opinion as well.
