It's a HUGE debate among my friends: who's related to who in "Cats." (We're dorks like that.) At first, I strongly believed that a few of the cat characters were siblings (especially if their coats were similarly marked/colored). But right now, I find it easier to assume that they're all unrelated. For example, Coricopat and Tantomile dance together when they can. But if I believe that they're siblings...things get awkward.
But the Cori and Tanto thing, you gotta remember that they're cats and cats don't act the same way humans do. It could simply be the way the siblings intereact with one another =) But we can't say for sure.
The songs lyrics if you just look at it, is talking about being in a relationship that everyone doubts will work out. Because the video is from Munkustrap's point of view, he beleives that because they're together everyone will just flat out reject them etc etc... I'll give the link once I get it up ;P
