Happy customer after 6 months. Very little dust inside the case (case is off the ground). Keeps everything cool and plenty of room for cable management. Will happily buy another for any future PCs :)
@dalesalsa Lol, I was gonna, but then I just used screws. Either way you're gonna have to use screws in addition to the 'tool-less' clips to have the drive secure. Plus I hardly use my dvd drive apart from installing games, but there's Steam for the majority of those :P
just got one.. I also almost bought an antec three hundred.. but I have to admit, what I didn't like about that case was that the front panel fan was not quite symmetrically centered.. this one is totally in the middle - AWESOME attention to details..
Great video because it confirms that I can mount the psu up or down.. sweeeet.. exactly what I needed to know.
Nab one before they're discontinued.. K58 is pretty bad ass too.
Nah, they'll be around for a while.. but you know how it goes. Eyeball a nice case long enough and eventually you'll be struggling to find a used on on eBay..
Also, being that Lancool is some form of subsidiary to Lian-Li.. it's always questionable (from a public perspective) how long they'll even exist as a company. In the event that Lancool closed its doors, its doubtful that Lian-Li would retain any of their products or designs.
..but here's hoping they're around for a good long time.
i have this case its pretty good but i have one small issue.
The wires for the Led, power switch and reset switch wires wire respectively are all made up of 2 individual wires (a coloured and a white one). Does any1 know which one is the positive and which is the negative?. I researched this and found out that white is negative but also found out that the wire with the arrow behind it is positive and in this case, that happens to be white.
@ AJashaman I don't know if this will help but when you install these wires onto the Motherboard, you should always have the writing on the sockets facing outwards. i.e. if you have all the the front panel connectors connected, you will be able to see the writing on all the wires.
It doesnt matter for reset and power buttons as they just short the two pins when you press them. It might matter for power or Harddrive activity LED's but from my experience the coloured lead is always + and black or white is always - or "ground" im pretty sure it wont matter too much as the front panel connectors are usually fool proof but try Colour = + and White/Black = -
@AJashaman it doesnt matter which one is pos or neg. diodes will only let electricity through in one direction. so if it doesnt work with white as neg and coloured as pos, then it should work if white as pos and coloured as neg. (yes I know you posted this one month ago, but that doesnt mean other people might have the same question in mind)
Ok, I've made up my decision, I'm going for the PC-K56 which has: Better cable managament, semi-tooless design, vibration dampening, option of having up or down facing PSU.

Ok, I'm now a happy owner of my new PC-K56 :) One problem, mine did not come with any tool-less 5.25" bay clips as seen at 1:27.

Sweet, looks like I will definitely rotate the HDD cage 90 degrees, and put my HDD on the bottom rack, for max cold input airflow :)
cannnonfoddder 1 year ago
How difficult is it to rotate the HDD cage 90 degrees?

@downwithdinosaurs Are they going to be discontinued soon or something? I thought the PC-K# line were reasonably new?

@downwithdinosaurs True, valid points. Well, hopefully I'll get one in the next few months, and hopefully it will last a few years :)

Holy smokes!
I was set on a Antec Three Hundred but after seeing this iam getting Lian Li instead.
I like the rubber things on the screws and the sideway mounting of the Hdd,the fan filter and the cable clamping.
And they are basicly have the same price tag Lian Li is even few buck cheaper :)
