I absolutely love this performance. Not only did he do a great job putting the great songs together, it also got this obsessive-love vibe to it.

I just love how he recognized the connection and translated it into a story.

Not being able to get rid of makes him a clear creep/weirdo in the eyes of others, and the constant image of his loved one will haunt him " 'till he finds somebody new".
