my friend also have same kind of my phone but he have secondary cam, while my second friend then doesn't have ,same on my phone.

Good review thanks. A few call this phone for various reasons but I have had no probs at all with it, I got it for the web and it is bril. Also got "comes with music" version. Feels like I am stealing from Nokia all the free albums and singles I have downloaded. End of the day phone and contract have been absolutely free, only need to price up value of music I have had. Cracking deal.

With which would you choose if you had to choose, I'm about to buy a cell phone and nokia do not know what to choose, as there are many points in favor of n85 but I like the 500 for its big screen

@walkatone15 is it originally from nokia buying center? the reasons why it has no front camera is maybe bec.

1. its not a original nokia 5800XM

2.its a device that looks like a nokia 5800Xm like nokia 5230 or 5233 (it is very look like a nokia 5800 the only difference is the Wifi, 3G,flash and front camera features.

by the way is your phone has 3G connection? because a original nokia 5800XM is 3G capable which is needed to make a videocall:)

my n85 sucks... sluggish and reboots by itself a lot. the number keys are just awfull. when you press one you are very prone to press more than one accidentally. take my advice and keep away of it !

people say its camera sucks at taking night pics is it true and does the camera quality improve after firmware update and people say its not dat loud at full volume wat do u have to say abt dat and the audio quality of the phone is it better then ipodA

Both phones have stereo speakers in contrast with the mono speaker of the iPod iPhone, much better. They take awesome pictures, specially the N85. Night pictures will be better too, both have flash, the iphone/itouch doesn't

5800 for the speakers definitely. I had the N85 which I sent back today, because of the terrible build quality, and the most tinny pair of speakers I had ever heard.

Hey man, I have been searching though reviews for a new phone for a while and I'm still undecided between the N96, N85 and the 5800. I know the Nseries ones are better in cameras but to me without a xenon flash, they're all pretty equal. I mainly want something with a good camera for pictures in the day and evening and goos video quality, in both capturing and reproducing. My main problem is choosing between these 3 is I want the best camera I can get without a xenon flash. Other wise I'd get

I have nokia 5800 and i can say that if its dark, you really cant get a good quality pic, even if your using the flash.

damn, this phone is really good, main reason is that it gives you more value for your money;

Omnia is like 100US more and they almost got the same feature.

Which one do urll think i sud buy.

Man, the Omnia has an awful battery life, you won't get more than 7 hours a day with slight use. It can't be used without a stylus, and you have to carry the stylus hanging outside of the phone, pretty girly.

The 5800 is a phone from the leading manufacturer in the world, I would go for the 5800.

Did a little revision my self and found that main disadvantage the omnia has is its low screen res and price;

But :) omnia sud win in speed, memory and camera, sudnt it? :D

I really did not like the Omnia, battery sucks, touch screen too and WinMo is VERY bad. I would say the 5800 is faster, has an easy to use OS and mature, Good battery too

Depends, if you country has DVB-H (mobile TV) and you want to pay the subscription, the the N96 is better. Otherwise the N85 is WAAYY better, better screen and FM transmitter

N85 OLED screen is nice indoor but outdoor is the worst ever... can even read who's calling you. Video capture is great but pictures are not great... FM TRANSMITER really sucks.

It is part true, the problem is that I had too much to say and little time since YouTube does not accept videos over 11 minutes.

But you can install almost any theme, and almost all applications because Nokia made sure they were compatible.

you should also say that you can't put many software on the nokia 5800, beacause it's a s60 5th edition. But the nokia n85 is a s60 3rd edition, so you can install a lot of software/applications.
