  • I mad a chop last month & I love it already!!! Can't wait til my locs grow

  • Beautiful

  • Congrats on your BC! It looks great :)

  • @MahoghanyBlu Thank you love!

  • Loving the natural look. It's beautiful. You know have to worry about others look b/c they are. I've learned since my BC on 12/29/10, that many women want to go natural, but afraid and many men love it... So that's why they're looking. Natural hair is always stunning :D So smile & Enjoy It.

  • i think you still need to cut off your relaxed ends...thats if you've not done so already cos I think you still have some relaxed ends in there. . It may cause breakage in the long run. goodluck.

  • @chiddiegirly Thanks for your comment. I did cut off all my relaxed hair. My hair is quite wavy/curly rather than coily especially the front which is 3b/3c texture. It's all my natural hair :)

  • You look beautiful! :)

  • @MrsRaena Thank you :-)

  • your hair is INSANELY beautiful!!!!

  • @Shawnique35 Thank you :-)

  • Congrats im 9 months post BC in 6 days. Do your thing!

  • @Blessd1009 Do your thing! 9 months that is fabulous ;-) How's it been?

  • @NaturalTari At first it was dry and nothing I used would help then around month 3 or 4 it started to get better. I use Aubrey Organics White Camellia conditioner ad Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose Conditioner. I was doing the curly girl method. I am not doing that any more instead I am shampooing more often with curls cleansing shampoo.

I am not sure if you are familiar with curlmart (type into google) it has lots of natural products. I am British so we have British curlies instead.

  • @Blessd1009 Thank you so much for your advice and recommendations. I actually went to curlmart and I'm thinking about ordering some new products from there. I really appreciate you, please keep in touch. Seems like you are doing a great job with your natural hair journey, I could learn a lot from you thanks again :-)

  • @NaturalTari I use Kimmaytube's leave in conditioner and that has helped so much. I stretch my hair by braiding or twisting it immediately after applying my leave in and wear a curly fro. Although as its winter and cold in the UK I am protective styling untill March. I find my hair easy to detangle even with finger detangling. Make a journal and write what happens when you use products so you remember. It gets better and better and you have a lot to work with so its good. Sorry for essay :)

  • @Blessd1009 Thank you :-)

  • Great! I have been natural ..and ..off and on for many years ...i am 40 now what i have learned from both .....Herbal essence are lovely products ...i like hydralicious and none of your frizzness the best ...also instead of pink oil moisturizer i use care free gold curl activator after shampoo and conditioning on wet hair to detangle it ( quarter size or little more )...i rub softee mango or coconut or castor hair grease...blow dry or curl it or roller set works great anytime

  • @cr233 Thank you so much for your advice. I went will be trying the herbal essence soon. I truly appreciate it! I'm sure your methods will work very well. Thanks again :-)

  • Congrats on going natural! Make sure you keep it moisturiser and protected. you should do great! IDK how you all transition. I couldn't do it. I just did a big chop and had maybe an 1/2inch to and 1inch of hair. :-)

  • @steadfastgreen lol the transition at first was very frustrating dealing with 2 textures your hair never looks right. so I decided to just keep it in braids till it grew to what I have now. You are really brave I was really scared to start with really short hair. Thanks for your comment dear :-)

  • yes natural hair is challenging
