Totally do not agree with this guy!!!! Jaguar & Volvo Has always ran in my family & for such a beautyful car like the XF, XJ, XK to come bake the way they have is AWSOME!! This guy downs the hell out of this car. If you have $60,000.00 to spend on a Jag, you most likely dont care that much about the MPG the car gets, expecialy if its an 'R' or 'Supersport'. This new line of JAG's are the SHIT & you dont see them everywhere. Jaguar has my Heart.

I may not be able to Buy a brand New One but I really nice used ones with less than 40k on the odometer for a reasonable $38k , and forget what Consumer Reports say They are by far the most biased mag out there they only give favorable reviews to those companies that donate heavily. They are Beautiful looking cars. I am looking forward to picking mine up in the Next few days

@samcktak umm i cant remember off the top of my head one is if you have a diesel and put in unleaded the nozzle doesn't fit so you dont ruin the car. My dad almost put unleaded into it but because we had that feature it saveddd our ass

I don't take ANYTHING this reviewer says seriously. This is 1 of the most beautiful cars on the road, and if I can afford to spend 50K or more on such a car, I really don't give a shit about 17 MPG. Fuck MPG....fuck being green....fuck all that bullshit. It's a sexy car and a real head-turner with an very strong v-8, and all the BS about it not being reliable is just that.....Bullshit.

I personally think that Tata are handling their new ownership of Jaguar extremely well. I read that they are keeping on the important people and it is still has an assembly in the UK. Ford as excellent as they are, were in a terrible financial crisis when they sold off Jaguar. This is a fabulously beautiful car. So spectacular when being driven out on the road.

I had a 06 infiniti M45 Sport, The reliablity was great, I had very few problems in the 4 year ownership but performance was low. My 2010 XF supercharge loves to go fast. Performance is twice that of the M45. We will see how it rates with reliablity over the nexts 4 years. I looked at the BMW 5 series and the Caddy CTS-V, Both had performance at the cost of passanger room for my family.

the 4.2L V8 is really plenty. My big gripes, however, were 1.the lack of option to eliminate paddle shifters... 2. if you want to go from paddles back to full-auto, you have to switch neutral and back to drive... 3. the trunk is really high and has a tiny opening... 4. the touch screen nav has a too small screen to use at speed.

Probably the best Jag I've ever seen. The fuel economy ratings are not that bad for an almost 400 horsepower car. Jag should get some tips from Honda & Toyota to improve their reliability. I noticed in recent Consumer Report Magazines that most Mercedes & BMW's are improving in reliability. Before, most of them were well below average & now most of them are average or better. Jaguar & Land Rover are currently the most unreliable brands according to Consumer Reports.
