Excuse me, this is not going to work, lol. Because the wheel base is so long you that you need to turn the front wheel enough that the chain will bend when turning.
Bicycle chains are designed to work with derailleurs, which works by moving one end of the chain sideways. So bicycle chains are designed to be very flexible, and can easily cope with the twisting and bending motion required for this bike.
