Doug, is the version in the July AG, the same as what is available on the AG website as a free download? Because the 2nd octave section...just hauntingly beautiful, is not included there :(

Doug, are you truly a fan of this guitar? I had the Ryan version for years and am contemplating this version... What are your thoughts on it? It sounds great from where I'm sitting.

@aemk612 For sure, excellent guitar! This was a review instrument for Acoustic Guitar, so I had to send it back, which was very hard :-) A different sound than the Ryan, which I also like a lot.

@DougYoungGuitar - thanks again Doug. I truly am a huge fan of the Ryan sound, but this seems to be a bit more "fundamental" in tone than the Ryans... do you agree? Maybe a bit more clarity in the bass... not taking anything away from Kevin's guitars, but this seems to have a little more crispness. I have had Lowden's in the past and I think the newer versions are much better than they were even 4 years ago... thanks again for the review, I read it at AG.com. Nice playing as well... be well.
