Finally going to get some competition? iPhone, as well as other apple products have ALWAYS had competition. Most of you pretentious douchebags have your nose stuck too high in the atmosphere the notice the ground being swept from beneath you. When you don't have money to buy a name like apple, you tend to do more research on what else is out there, and usually find a better product. I'm not going to say alternative, because iPhones are the alternative to better phones out there.

Phone is a communication device not a toy (iphone). HTC hero display easy and very customizable way for being connected to the world.

HTC's interface for andriod actually looks like something that's worth using, and that's nice if you want a HTC phone.

The only problem I have with the hero is it looks like a cheap platic toy, it might feel study enough, can't say I haven't tried it yet, but first impressions do count, and for me, the hero's exterior just doesn't cut it.

First of all "slow" - for a pre-release build it looks pretty good to me. The end release version will run without any slow-down. The iphone, on the other hand, is infuriating thousands of users since the third major update (3.0) because its getting to the point where its so slow its unusable. Compare that three major releases on to a pre release version. Second the "chin"... its a functional thing, not stupid just because you don't like it. If you wear pants that tight anyways its pretty dumb.
