  • Hi Anyone,

I have purchased Yamaha PSR-423 very recently. Intitally, there was something in series...Jude hey 001, New UK 002 Myloving 003 and so on.... When I used to press keys on the left side, it used to play tunes on which we can compose. I dont know what happened. I think i did some changes in the settings i guess (not sure what is is)...now if i press only one key 3 keys will get pressed. Also, I am sure i did not spoil this. Can anyone PLS HELP ME. I am very new to Keyboard. PLS!!!!

  • @coolmaheshss read the instructions cover to cover, then you'll figure it out. Probably got some sort of auto chord on or something. Good luck!

  • @coolmaheshss there is a button called Accmp on/off on the left side.toggle it

  • good sounds for voice but storage not friendly : flash memory,Casio ctk 7000 have SD card up to 32 GB,and other function : mixer, drawbar organ, tone editor, pattern creator and rhythm editor ,mixer, song creator, and save style up to 100 user style,so E423 minimum feature but i like sounds very nice,in stage i prefer to Casio ctk 7000.....

  • @miguelgdadu i used to own one to be honest i believe the arpeggioator but i must warn you the synthesis is bad no rotary sim for organs and no octave switching for pianos i sold mine for a korg m5o which i love there are better keyboards out there i wouldn't buy it

  • well, yeah then that makes sense. it's out of this world good. bang for your fuck. really, i fuck it.

  • Wow this board must have some pretty decent r&b and latin styles and he goes for swing (laff) Well, I'll never under stand why the shop reviewiers always have to pick these cheesy pseudojazz-ish styles when presenting a new model. I'd rather like to listen to contemporary/urban styles.

  • where is best??? yamaha piaggero npv80 or this keyboard (psr e423)?? thanks

  • Please, Cranbourne, could you show some styles playunf funk music? Or some kind of grooves? Using solos of Electric Pianos, bus SHOWING THE REAL ACCOMPANIMENT of all the funk styles? Playing with the groove? Intro, solo and finish? Please, I need to hear it to decide if I'll order this keyboard or not. Thank you a lot, and one more thing, could you show us all the bass sounds, splited on the left side playing some funk? Thank ypou very much, and the best regards from Rio de Janeiro, South East!

  • 423 is better

  • can some1 tell me which one is better e423 or e323 please???

I am actually a beginner and dont really know those stuffs.

i ve seen quite awesome grand piano sound from the e323 but the e423 i dont know much. please give me advices guys!!!

  • i wish someone can do a good review, not only play some notes .

Well, at least this video shows some of the keyboard voices.

  • ok, always the piano first, NOONE IS INTERESTED ON PIANOOOOS! Threre are millions of good pianosounds out there. We want hear the action, right?

  • @fiutare1 First of all, you're an idiot. Second, you have no taste. And third, you're an idiot. The piano is an incredibly-powerful instrument with the right song and in the right hands. You know what I can't stand about people these days? They think you can have a singer, a drummer, and a guitarist and call it a band. Piano and strings are fantastic for melody, which is the foundation of any good song. Sadly, nowadays all people care about is rhythm and riff...

  • @TheMTPrower unfortunately you don't have any glue, what I was talking about. I didn't talk about pianos as instruments but of these million of cheap pianosounds in damn cheap keyboards. These keyboards are made for cheap sounds and noises. I don't wanna hear the 1.954.035.275.536th painful pianosound.

So if I am an idiot, you are a big asshole.

  • Is this better than a dgx305 regarding more customaization and quality of the sound, becouse I need one of this keyboards for oriental music.

  • Awesome video on Yamah prs-e423 above my budget but tempting

  • the mans got skill(;

  • why doesnt pianos let people add their own sounds at all

  • @KashgroundTM at the psr e423 you can add your own songs, styles and voices^^ sorry im german

  • @Farinurlaubistcool damn.....i only got a casio wk-200...lol dammit

  • @KashgroundTM soorryy, be not cry, I tested my new psr e423 (got at Chritmas (24.12. (Germany)), I only can add my own songs and Styles... No voices -.-""

  • @Farinurlaubistcool if the piano thing can attach a music player to it,you can use voices xD figured it out dude, you can use ipods and shit to transfer the sounds.use fl studio or reason or ableton or audacity, get a mic and record, save the recording as a...a...an mp3 or wav file, put it on your ipod or zune or whatever the hell, and bring it to yamha.this will work if your piano got a ipod hole

  • @KashgroundTM kk you can use the midiport (usb) to play with FL or other Programms but you cant attach music players... I think....

  • @Farinurlaubistcool does it have like a ipod hole?

  • @KashgroundTM nope... USB, Power, Phones (only out) and Sustain (To plug in a Yamaha...uhh I dont now how I say it in English, in Germany we say "Fußpedal"... you have got it under a real Piano I think you say "pedal"...)

  • @Farinurlaubistcool foot pedal :3

  • I have a PSR 413 and I don´t see the difference, this is black, mine is silver

  • does this piano have songs in it and does it teach songs? like classical music for instance?

  • Which is better, Yamaha PSR-E423 or YPG-235

  • Does it have the "Learn to play" sound that shows which keys to press on the screen? And can you plug in your ipod and have it show you how to play those songs?

  • I think i'm gonna wish for this, or any other good keyboard for christmas.. Anyone have any suggestions for a decent piano player?

  • @Peelzor I'm stuck between this and the Yamaha NP-30

  • @LinkinParkKanenite me too :(

  • @Peelzor I bought the PSR-E423 a couple months ago and it is a very good keyboard. You wont get board and the quality is very good for the price.

  • @Peelzor hi, i have that piano, i like it, the video doesnt really show the features it has, if you get to know it u can combine sounds and everything, any questions? im willing to help u

  • @albusdum100 can this be battery powered

  • @carnews333 Yes it can, but I wouldnt recommend u to use batteries if u r planning on playing live, they go dead quickly, its better to use to power cord, it comes with it.

  • this keyboard is a great starter keyboard fantastic organ and piano patches

  • I'm going to buy this keyboard, very soon! :)

  • @Charity563 i tooo :=) At Christmas

  • Thanks for the video! I was seriously torn between the E423 and the older YPT 310, but the E423 just has so many more features that I want in a keyboard.

  • Comment removed

  • since this keyboard has no MIDI ports, can I still plug it through the Usb por to my laptop and use it with reason?

  • @adversariozz From what I gather you just have to install the driver and you'll be good to go. I won't know for SURE until I get my hands on it, but that's what I gather from the owner's manual PDF I've been glancing over. :)

Someone used the new Rock Band 3 Keytar with a Midi-to-USB 1x1 that worked great with Reason (4, I believe. MIGHT be 5), so the e423 should work with a USB AB cable. I'll defer to the experts on certainty though :D

  • @adversariozz yes

  • I have the same keyboard too.

  • which keyboard is at the right top????

  • Well done!

  • Very good review, thanks!

  • Thank you for making this video! I want to buy a new keyboard, and I guess the Yamaha PSR-E423 is the best choice. Thanks to this video, I know a little bit more about it. :)
