Bessie the Pitbull/Basset Hound mix for Adoption (ADOPTED 6/13/10!!)

My Best Friend of the past 12 years just passes away...her name was "Daisy Dumpster". That's right,out of a dumpster (through the Humane Society). d She watched the window every morning waiting for the paper and would bark the instant it arrived for me to let her out and retrieve it. She loved to be held in my lap, even though she approached 60+ pounds. Her kidneys failed and she had to be put down a few months ago....but I will miss her forever. She was a precious companion.

My wife and I just adopted a sweet little basset/ pit mix from the humane society!! I never evn knew there was such a thing!! What a good dog!! Bessie looks like she could be her sibling!!

@kailuagirl87 its crazy how so many people are extremely judgemental these days. if Bessie ever met this clarissa person, i'm sure Bessie would love her but clarissa apparently is a cold-hearted person who judges by looks only. i guess she got it from her parents, considering they dumped her when she was a child

@xDontBreakMyHeartx i rarely ever let ppl get to me on youtube of all places, but im so tired of ppl clicking on a video just to ruin the mood for everyone else. bessie is beautiful btw and i hope she is showered with love everyday of her life =) thx for bringing awareness to a shelter dog. more shelters and rescues need to post vids of their animals so people can feel a more personal introduction before coming down to meet the animal.

@megoingdumb i made this a couple weeks ago! she's still available! :) in fact i was just at the Sadie Mae Foundation today and spent lots of time with her.
