Google+ monitor your life. It would be the same as FB. FB sells user data to corporations. Intresting idea and i hate it. I use adblock in firefox because the are too many ads everywhere. Better slogan is WE give you MONEY to come HERE. I never had a FB profile and never will the same goes to G+ system. I have better things to do. Have a nice day :)

Oh, I believe Pages have those sort of metrics already (per-item impressions)... would be fascinating to have that enabled on FB for your own wall!

Pretty interesting. I am a bit cynical about the slogan being a good motivator for people who specifically want to avoid commercialising their life when it is not their goal nor source of even substantial supplementary income. However, it does make a lot of sense to enable ad revenue for the influential people on Facebook... I have almost 1300 "friends" and even some subscribers now. Though, should I earn based on how many contacts I have or how many real impressions there are?
