Man, this takes me back. I've never watched that performance, but I can remember how much buzz it got. There were so many new and interesting things going on with music during that time period. There were lots of different sounds and personality. Britney Spears was on EVERYTHING. She was white hot for 6-7 years (she's still a big star, but not like that.
