  • this is a dolphin or a whale? hahaha

  • your hands on the arrow can not fly up and down because it slows down everything

  • All u loosers who thank that's good then u have really low expectations I swim 2wice that distance underwater hold my breath 50 meters without those flippers and im not a swimmer just that im willing to hold my breath to near passout but I was never near that

  • im a swimmer and i cant hold my breath that long but i can still freedive -.-.

    nothing to argue about guys!

  • Wow, people get all worked up over a breathing technique? Really, its no big deal if you can hold your breath longer then the guy above you. If you can, great, all the more power to ya. If ya can't, well, who cares?

  • big pool

  • this is a shit, really :)) you are talking about swimming like you ryan lochte or michael phelps . In swimming not all depends of your breath .

  • @Farcu09 I am diving, man. FreeDiving! Everything, really everything depends on breath hold there. ;)

  • @NitramRellim yeaa, but it's not swimming ;) and this isn't a swimming training. It's diving, right? :)

  • keep your upper body stable and straight dont move it

  • on a single breath thats really good.

  • Awesomeeee... I'm trying to learn dolphin kick...its difficult.

  • what is the advantage of training with fins or with a mono fin?

  • the end reminds me of my betta fish for some reason

  • is there a reason to do this? you're not exercising ur muscles tho? what are the benefits in doing this

  • @ihaveabox helps develop your technique, but i don't like the dolphin fin since i think its poor mechanics, individual fins are better since people dont understand the seperation of the legs

  • nice!!!

  • omg! eto pala ang dolphin stroke...hindi stroke..kicks ... who the hell told me before that dolphin is also a butterfly stroke.... haist... i remember na...ung mokong na ewan...yabang

  • q feo

  • Can anyone teach me how to swim under water? :D

  • what wow..its just 25 m i make with one briath 50 ....

  • WOW that was exellent and he did it all on one breath!!!

  • ahahah legal * *

  • I would want to try that... It looks cool!

  • that is cool, i like the mono-flipper!!

  • i want those fins

  • oggleman not as easy as u think its a major work out for the abs and lower body

  • Well sure anybody can do dolphin kicks easy if they've got dolphin fins attached to their feet!!!

  • so beast

  • that move is so beautiful!!

  • Man. How does it look so good underwater? I thought it was a computer simulation = o

  • it is fish~

  • c joli mais c pas un exploi non plus !!!!!

  • haha those fins are amazing =]

  • I'm 24 and i am beginning to learn how to swim you know it's kinda embarrasing see these people swimming like a champs and im still learning how to float jaja oh well...

  • hey i'm 24 and in the same position. Don't sweat it dude/ or lady, we all gotta start somewhere. I actually taught myself how to swim in a period of 2 weeks and sure I'm not the best, but I sure look better than those 40 yos in the Adult swim class.

  • @TracyMacToDaRack Hey man im here again after all this months i know the four techniques now and i love it ! now i need to improve my technique but i can do like 800 meters im very excited man, im a man by the way good luck out there see ya.

  • @EUSL84 That's awesome! Great to hear about the success. I felt the same exact way when I finally realized what I was doing wrong. Still can't do the butterfly though but I think Imma have to start working my way up from the dolphin kick. Oh and go back to swimming again after a long haitus. GL, have fun.

  • Total Immersion swimming - check it out!

  • I can only dolphin kick.I can't help it. i try to kick normally but it feels weird lol.

  • Thats a huge bitch

  • that cannot be 25m

  • Actually, it is. I do 25M all the time and it looks about right.

  • iDo Too | But That Seemz Like A 20 Or Sumthin

  • Most swimmers should be able to make it underwater for 25 meters easy with fins

  • even without fins

  • that is awesome...do they all come that big?

  • "Call me Ishmael..." Opening line from Moby Dick... common name in the bible too.

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhha good luck with that

  • Im pro at swiming in my country atleast in this video, this training is completely uselles ..

  • If you would be pro you wouldn't say that... this is an awesome training for dolphin kick... thanks to this fin a person makes perfect kick... person will swim with it for some time and get used to the movement and will be able to perform dolphin kick without it.

  • Nope, maibe im old fashion but thouse things in your legs don't help you at all, take something in your hands and use only legs if you wanna learn that,

  • have you ever tried them?

  • nope

  • So what makes you think they don't work? I used the separate fins on feet and they do help the flapper kick... never used these but I'm positive they will give the same effect because they help with the same thing.

  • swimming is short turm diving... for people who can not hold their breath longer then 1-2 sec... ;)

  • Ok, man! Where and when?

  • @NitramRellim

Insert meaningless comment about physical prowess that will never be proved in real life here.

  • if this is a sport you ask?

why dont you ask mister phelps then. dolphinkick is commonly used by olympic goldmedal athletes.

or is it that monofin bothering you... are you trying to say marine mammals dont know how to swim :)

  • @carlitos465 what

  • where do u get those giant flippers??

  • @doublefudge7 It is called a monofin and you can buy them off the internet.

  • looks as if hes flying. the water is like really invisible,...

  • funny thing is... it feels like flying too! When the water is taking away the weight of you body and you are free to move in any direction... that's it!

  • WOW he can hold his breath for long..... impressive

  • that isnt long :P

  • it seemed like it was

  • he had fins on wich made him go faster so it was easier for him to hold his breath. i could do that. duuuhhhh

  • Its only 26 sec....

  • im 11 yrs old wat do u expect and i only started swimming

  • well, Ishmael, keep it up. Swimming is like short turn diving. It'll give you a very good water feeling and help you to relax.

  • thank you :)

  • @ishmael9100 if i was 11 years old again i would expect myself to not be messing around on youtube and i would expect myself to be doing homework

  • @Tex259 thanks for being his parent? tool

  • good job

im not good at the rythm at doing that kick

i kind of do only my lower body and it doesn't work out well

but you film kind of helped me figure out how the body moves the right way

    thanks =D

  • i'm not an expert, but.. isn't it supposed to be symmetrical? on the video fin works only on the way down, and it moves up much slower.

  • very good! I see you know what you are talking about. In freediving there is a technique to just kick down and then use the glide. The idea is to use the amount of oxygen you can cary and transfer it into propulsion as efficient as possible.

I have been working on the up-kick, though...

  • thanks for explanation. i just started using monofin. i'm also using down kicks, my guess it looks ugly, at least i can move forward.:)

BTW, your video "Berlin 27.20.2007" looks much better IMHO..

  • perfect kick! I do some freediving, but i do it without fins, the breatholding is good ( i can't see your full potential0 so i wont criticize, but the kick was great!

  • THAT was delishoust dude. I just ordered a mono fin and that was so perfictly exicuted did not move to fast and you held your breath with no prab.

  • how do you hold your breath so long?

  • it's not that difficult, some pools are just 12 yards long :) Even I can do it. For me the main problem for now is to stay underwater..

  • most ppl cant do it. i think most (more than 50% ) people cant swim at all. 50m underwater most good swimer can do. (not me yet)

  • excelente!!!!!!

  • ¡muchas gracias, señores!

  • parece flotar, arrrre! excelente! peace!

  • muy bueno
