George Bush was too stupid to be corrupt. He was just the lightening rod, so that if the American people ever did revolt and storm the White House and break out the gulliotines and hang ropes like they should have by now, then the extreme right in such a scenario could simply say, "Well it wasn't our fault, That man made us do it." @4turrold5 George Bush was a corporate criminal long before he became a politician. Look at all of his failed companies that he somehow made a profit on right before their stock went to shit. He was too stupid to be a real President that could make intelligent and informed decisions that mattered but not too stupid to be a corrupt businessman. But since his father was in such high positions(Director of the CIA and eventually President), the companies "miraculously" found angel investors. They were Saudis that kept the companies afloat to raise the value of the shares long enough for Jr. to sell right before they dropped. Which was insider trading and as you know illegal.
