I wish there was a darya of Farhad Daryas in Afghanistan, surely afghanistan would had been a much much better place, each time I listen to his songs about afghanistan it makes me feel the pain of every afghan child, every mother, every father, every trees, every stone, and every destroyed afghan house which was one day home to a happy afghan family. Attan is one of them and I am incredibly proud that the whole country embraces this as our national dance. In that sense, I think its ok that the song is in Dari. I would also love an uzbek and turkman version because again, attan is transcendental. Long live pashtun culture and every other culture.
