hey guys i just got my psp and this game and it says u play through ad hoc mode and i don't know wat that means. Then when i try to play online, no one is ever on. Can someone help?

A PS3 with ad hoc party installed on it is required to play dissidia online.

Basically, ad hoc means you make a local network to play the game with other people (they have to be physically near your location). But what ad hoc party on PS3 does is use the PS3 as a hub to fool the PSP into thinking that people who are actually very far from you are playing close to you over an ad hoc network, essentially allowing you to play local only games online.
