I just stumbled across this camera, it has *everything* I am looking for, and thank you someone who was smart with the engineering - I hate all these lithium batteries I love that it takes the standard batteries too. And the layout is sensible, it's small and compact, and gives all the manual abilities. Someone was using their brain designing this! I want one!
If you turn on the camera, then press the 'menu/ok' button, you will see a screen that has two tabs along the top, move to the right-hand tab (this is the 'setup' menu), then move down to page 5, the language setting is the setting at the bottom of that page. Select it and press 'menu/ok' again, you should then see English, select it and press 'menu/ok' again.

hi there ! i just bought the same camera, but its all in japanese! any ideas on how to change the language. thanks
