  • I'll bet a lot of baby batter was spilled that day!

  • Those Vipers are badass!

  • Love the Sukhoi's!!

  • 4:17-5:00...Florida ANG?

  • I really think i would give up half my penis to fly any one of those planes.

  • Prowler ftw!

  • f16 and the f15 aka ( beauty and the beast)

  • @kristian84817 because it is the viper ;)

  • very cool! which was the loudest, most badarse airplane u saw?

  • nice assortment of aircraft!

  • SOO MUCH PLANES!!!

  • @ Monsoon and down so fast when engaging any decent modern fighter. the F16 is a great light cavalry workhorse in the third world but it is way outclassed in tier 1

  • The F-15E and F-16 were all loaded . The Indian Su planes only had A/A & no drop tanks Why so?

  • For added awesomeness, watch this listening to Metallica in the background!

  • i love the f 16 and i love the red flag

  • hung NLG at 4:48, somebody forget the pin? lol

  • Hi 8081rt,

How did you get to this close? Does the AF really allow you (us) to get this close or you may need to have certain permission to get in? I would love to get this close, too. When does Red Flag begin?

    Thanks

  • where can i find the cockpit footage for the Indian air force SU-30?

  • Much rather see US planes than russian.

  • good cameramen, greetings

  • do you need a special scanner to listen to air force frequencies? i want to buy a scanner but i wanna make sure i can listen to air force frequencies too

  • does anyone know what the lightning bolt on the tail of those F-15's denotes? Agressors are camo'ed, so could the be reserves?

  • 12:17 - The US Navy needs to get some of those babies! Damn those look awesome... I always forget what they are called though. Griphyns? Gripens? Something like that.

  • @shadowblade145 Those are actually French Navy Rafales. The JAS-39 Gripen is a Swedish plane, although I agree they are bothy cool looking planes

  • @dandoosh90 Ah I see. I always get those 2 confused. Both are pretty bad ass aircraft though =)

  • @shadowblade145 Gripens arnt naval planes,Sweden makes planes to take off from roads and forest air strips.the US navy is coverd they got the F-35C and B models, and be good if they have rafales.

  • @1bearcatf8f Yeah I was a bit confused for a bit. Sweden and France make amazing aircraft.

  • @shadowblade145 Yeah France makes awsome planes exepct for civil planes sence those Airbuses seem to drop out of the sky for the simpliest stuff. Now Sweden well there alright but there gripen is basiclly an F-16 variant.

  • 4:46 - Thats not good at all!

  • 4:42 dude, nosewheel, suck it in!

  • 4:46 ... whoops. Overspeed.

  • does anyone notice the sukhoi????????????

  • how do you get so close

  • What's the first plane?

  • @clericboy289 Ilyushin IL-76 military version, manufactured in Russia.

  • @clericboy289 Their not quite as capable copy of the good old C-141

  • @dandoosh90 Well anything original tends to be the better one,Sence the C-141 came in 2 sizes the long, and extra long.il-76 doesnt.

  • @clericboy289 Their not quite as capable copy of the good old C-141, in Indian AF markings

  • @dandoosh90 The il-76 isnt 100% copied its really just a taller version that russia made after.

  • were was the 141 from?

  • 4:47

The forward lading gear fails to retreat.

  • the 15s have to be my favorite overall still

  • 3:08 Indian Su-30 MKI?

  • @clericboy289 Yes :)

  • @clericboy289 yup.

  • Man, it's gotta suck flying all the ancient junk (single-engine Sears lawnmower>f-16), f-15, etc...when all the big boys are flying the F-22's

  • @serratealldemoncrats Your a moron. Having 50 jet engines doesnt make the aircraft good dickhead. What all big boys? That 'junk' engines fumes is worth more then your house.

  • LOl, oh, ok, another brave from behind the computer douche bag! Go ahead and fun dreamin about flyin outdated, single-engine Sears lawnmower powered aircraft then, by all means!

  • @serratealldemoncrats Its the fuckn same engine as on the F-15 you fuckn mole. Just more output and single. The engine is the most expensive, heavy part on a fighter, youd save heavily and be able to keep making them rather then build a few then run out of money and cancel the production like with the F-22. Money doesnt grow on trees, you cant build gold plated fighters. Youd make the worse President/decision maker in history. How do you maintain a budget?

  • @serratealldemoncrats You obviously have some Sears fetish. And we dont have Sears here in Australia. Stop talking like we all shop in the US you ignorant moron. We have Kmart/Target here!

  • @serratealldemoncrats YOU MAKE A GOOD POINT ABOUT THE F-22! BUT YOU MUST NOT LET YUR ASS DO THE TALKING WHEN YOU HEAD KNOWS BETTER! THEY HAVE PUT THE F-22 ON THE BACK BURNER!! PROBABLY FOR GOOD...... AWESOME FIGHTER BUT COST WAY TO MUCH FUCKIN MONEY! I AM A HUGE FAN OF THE F/A 18 HORNET/ SUPER HORNET THE ONLY AIR TO AIR AND AIR TO GROUND FIGHTER THAT WE US...... BUT THE F-16 FIGHTING FALCON AND THE F-15 STRIKE EAGLE HAVE MORE THAN PROVEN THEMSELVES AS WORTHY FIGHTERS!!!

  • @K9COP282 Dude the strike eagle never shot down a fighter in a dogfight its a fighter bomber,The F-15C is unmatched to anything,Now that will be pasted onto the F-22 and F-15 silent eagle.

  • are those russian jets in the beginning and towards the end

  • @MrRobbrocker yup

  • There are LEX, LERX, Chines, Slats, Kinks, etc. Some provide vortex lift at supersonic speeds, some help at slow speeds, also helpful for manouvering and so on.

  • Thank's bro. I've some info in Wiki, and some Sokhoi fan's sites. Cheers from Brazil.

  • Canards are also bad for stealthy aircraft. Thats why the F-22 and F-35 use Leading Edge Extensions "LEX" or chimes instead. But canards are said to give more range and ability to carry more payload. Canards look cool :)

  • @TuAFFalcon

Please dude, I wish to learn more about those LEX's. Where do I found more about this?

  • I read about them in Air Forces Montly. Umm i dunno try wikipedia? And sorry typo its chines not chimes lol.

  • Whats that aircraft at 2:10?? Su-35??

  • @Bart050384

Not bro, but close. It's an Su30 MKI from Idian Air Force.

Remember that Su-35 never passed as a prototype. Instead, Russian realized that front canard's do not increase agility as it's increase weight and less fuel capability, and focus on a Su-27 SMK, a bether and upgraded version of Su27.

  • You can see the Indian Flag :)

  • gotta give you rooskies credit , you have one cool as fighter.....not as good as our raptor though.... =P

  • thats so kl

  • Does anyone knoe what the Il-76 does when it goes to Nellis

  • the F-16s get up so quick

  • @Monsoon08

    Combat Start ....really quick.....Word

  • 04:40 the first wheel was stuck? and the afterburner worked on one engine did anyone realised that?

  • I did. Looks like that one had some problems. Maybe he or she landed right after the takeoff. Thats what I wouldve done.

  • wat was the first one?

  • It really looks like that the wings of the F15 don't provide much lift. They're always taking off pretty slow. (I mean the angle after rotation).

  • They are far from slow. They used to have the world "time to climb" record from ground to whatever,,,so not real slow.

  • Damn thats alotta 15's

  • is the first plane an IL-76?

  • how do you tell the difference between the su-27/30/32/35 etc.?

  • Mostly antenna, canard and nationality

  • yes those Sukhois are hard to tell apart

  • hope they wore ear protection

  • Nice video, but you need to loosen the pan tensioning screws on your tripod a little more so it's not so jerky at slower panning..

  • nice tip

  • at 2:38, was the aircraft shown a MiG-29 or an SU-27?.

  • Those are Indian Su-30MKI.

  • thats a 27 flanker

  • su 30 MKI INDIA

  • Just like in one of the other mass launch vids at 6:37-6:39 a white puff of smoke from the side of the Eagle, is that some sort of fuel dump or hydro leak or what it's bizarre.

  • 7:51 is a big one too

  • the first one took off in a very very short distance OMG great!!!!

  • God, the F-15 taking off with full AB is amazing.

  • man i wish you can help me get this close to them airplanes russian ones . =).

  • At 4:40 an F-15 lost hydraulic power to get up its nose wheel.

  • if they turning back???

  • Dassault Rafale

  • the last 2 aircraft was a french rafale. :)

  • HAF.

    Best.

  • I'm going to play Ace Combat now..bye all! lol

  • go play hawx. :)

  • Lol no go play Falcon 4.0 AF or OF ;) Much MUCH MUCH more realistic and therefore fun!

  • The Indians were definately flying the best aircraft !!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • They look like SU-30MKI's of the Indian Air Force.

  • we are

  • who is flying the migs ?

  • IAF

  • there are no migs! those are Su's....

  • Watch the Front Wheel of the F-15 at 4:45.What happened???

  • Looks like the Hydrolics failed or something .. it just flops back down

  • great job!

    keep 'em coming, please!

  • Awsome Dude! Turn n Burn!

  • At 4:45, why was his nose gear down?

  • Hydraulic failure - door could have latched shut before the gear made it all the way up. Happens.

  • Their to nice to use in combat :)

  • why do I get thumbs down for stating a fact? you yellow-bellied traitors! how dare you!

  • LoL wasnt me man. Proparly because there are other factors involved. Its not that easy...

  • :-)

  • 4 thumbs down, so now no one sees my comment unless they select ''poor(-10 or better)" or "all comments" in the "Show" box above.

  • are you on the ramp?

  • I could sit and watch this video all day.

Looks like I'm going to have to bring hearing protection.

  • Ohh Yeah! Especially with B-1's and F-22's playing. Its gonna be LOUD!!! Have you ever been to one?

  • No this will be my first. Hopefully not my last. Nellis Public Affairs Office has been amazing so far. Just waiting for that final info e-mail and confirmation.

How do these media days usually go? Seems like you've got some experience with these.

  • why does the Su30mk whatever have a blue afterburner? that looks cool

  • 2:37- Where the hell did we get some of those!?

  • They're Indian.

  • What is a "Red Flag Mission"??? Is it like a Training thing???

  • Yep

  • in 4:40-4:53 the front landing gear stays stuck down...i wounder wat they made the pilot do

  • awesome, good to know, thanks alot for the info once again! Ill hopefully get to see some activity there, and ill also try to check out the base, hopefully they have a tour or something maybe? :)

  • thats too bad, is there somewhere i can check before hand, like a schedule or something like that?

  • A schedule of the week your gonna be here or Red Flag? Either one, no. But for Weapons School, usually its an all day kind of thing with lots of stuff going up, but it may be a bit slow. You may get the T-Birds going up to Creech, and possibly an early arrival for RF.

  • awesome! last time i was in vegas i saw no activity at all, i guess bad timing. I'll be there again in the new year, January 1st to the 6th, any idea if there will be something going on then?

  • The week of the 1st has no activity for the holidays. The week of the 6th, not so sure, probably little or none, but if something is flying it will be Weapons School. The good stuff happens on the 26th and last for 2 weeks, its Red Flag.

  • Were those French MiG-29s?

  • No Indian SU-30 and last one is a French Rafale.

  • hey what is this RedFlag means....?

  • its an exercise where the best pilots of various nations go head to head. Read up on it, very interesting

  • awesome... how did you get so close to where they were taking off?

  • cool to see the F-15 with the landing gear issue. nose wheel down and no burners lit. good call!

  • The f-15 still has some serious problems with landing redundancy and failure. An all around good fighter though. All of them in this vid are.

  • Yes, the Rafale is a very good fighter. Funny thing is both the Rafale and the Eurofighter flew for the first time in 1986 or so. But in the meanwhile there was no more cold war, so they didn't have to speed the things up.

  • I like France's new toy : ) oh and i find it funny that everyone loves the F-22 and SU-30 and seriously... why wouldn't they!! but ppl don't remember sometimes the f-15 is the fastest...

  • when does this take place and where in the states? id love to get some pics when im over there for a year abroad at uni

  • man i love this video

  • Waoo, Su-30s and Rafales in RED FLAG I think is the 1st time to participate. It ll be a nice test drive. Nice vid.

  • Yeah both Virgins in Red Flag. Originaly France was bringing Mirage 2000's, but they heard India was bringing their new toy, so they decided to bring their new toy as well.

    Glad you like the video!

  • these are the real WOMD!

  • awesome video!!

  • thanks for the video...really enjoyed.

  • Holy shite! I just went through wikipedia, Su 30MKI's range is 8000Km and travels at speeds of Mach 2.35. It has like 24 different types of armaments. With thrust vectoring. Truely awsome jet mate! comparable to the F22's

  • i didnt realise that the f-15s took part from lakenheath!

  • great vid

  • at 04:40 f-15 can't liftup front wheel..

  • did u guys hear about the f-15 crash?

  • which one?

  • all uncle sams jets :-)

  • At 2:30 That is an SU-30. Its an improved version of the SU-27 and this is of the Indian Air Force. As was the IL-76 at the begining of this video

  • REDFLAG is an advanced aerial combat training exercise hosted at Nellis AFB Nevada and Eielson AFB Alaska.Air crew from the U.S.A.F and other US military branches and allies take part each of which is 6 weeks in duration

The exercise is conducted 4-6 times a year is a very realistic aerial war game. The purpose is to train pilots for real combat situations. This includes the use of "enemy" hardware and live ammo for bombing exercises within the Nevada test site. Not open to public

  • What exactly is a 'Red Flag' is it some kinda training day and when do you know one is gonna be taking place? If so how much warning do you get in advance? Couple of days? Week or so? Would i have time to travel to Nellis AFB? Cuz by the looks of things its certainly a spectacle that is well worth viewing for any aviation enthusiast. 1 Final question, Who is it Open to? Who can take the photos and the videos?

  • 1. Dates for Red Flag 09 have been released

    2. Anyone can take photos and videos outside the base.

    3. Depending on how you plan on getting to Nellis, you should make it on time.

    4. Check our site, players for the upcoming flag have been posted.

  • Is that a Flanker at 2:30? That looked like an

    SU-27 Tail

  • SU-30MKI's from the Indian Air Force.

  • o i heard some of our F-22s where down there but probly not at the launch. good vid! 5*****

  • What Elmendorf Air Force Base F-22s or F-15s down there?

  • Not sure what your asking? Nothing from Elmendorf was playing.

  • was that Ef-2000 at the end or Rafael Mirage?

  • Rafale, and it not Rafale Mirage its Dassualt.

  • thx,.. cool vid

  • There's going to be a warzone in the sky soon, lol.

  • I think I recognize the ROK Eagles near the end. They have this distinctive grey.

  • um...

..how'd you get that close up?

  • Are the f-15e from lakenheath here in england?(LN on the tailplane)

  • Yeah

  • Ok i will make it simple for u what u think wich planes is better, su 30 mki or the f 15 or the rafale, they are all good jets, but only f 15 is proven in combat, so can u tell me did red falgs bring something new, and did mki shown well against west planes, i hope that is not some top secret :)

  • Thank you for your post !

  • Man when those rafales take off there AOA is pretty high. Good video with all the other aircraft

  • nice video, what happend on red flag, i hear that indian even didnt turn radars on they mki, was any fight betwen miki against f 15 or rafale or ay aircraft, what is score, did su 30mki shown well :)

  • The SU-30's didnt use their radar, and there is no score. Red Flag isnt a game, you either do good or you do bad.

  • 8081rt,

How they are doing it without rader ??? I mean how do you locate enemy birds without rader ??? Is this within visual range ??

  • Maybe it was the AWACS?

  • im hoping that something will happen this weekend, cause im arriving in vegas on friday!! Anybody know for sure, if something is going on friday, or saturday?

  • Its not gonna be like this, Red Flag is over. Friday, barely anything and in the morning, saturday usually nothing unless something is arriving. There may be something on saturday like some planes leaving to their home base. If you need any info, PM me.

  • over how long of a time period did all of these launches take place?

  • probably an hour or less.
