thnx for this it was realyy helpful im reading the handmaid's tale now :)) nd have u dont a review for slaughterhouse-five>? i'd really like to watch it :D
I'm reading it now and am about 90 pages in...it is one of the books in my reading list for over summer (along with 1984 which I still need to read!) and am struggling a little mainly as it's often switching between different tenses eg the present, back with aunt Lydia...but will keep going and not give up!
@thebattleforX9 yes I have. I really enjoyed it for the most part but didn't care for the fact that they didn't leave the fate of her husband to mystery like they did in the book. That's my only complaint.
I had to read this for my AP English 12 class as part of my summer list and at first I didn't really care for it or appreciate its meaning but then once I took the test on it in class and had to actually think about it, I started to care more for it and now I think its one of the best books I read. It was Great. You should read 1984 by George Orwell That was AMAZING and similar to Handmaids tale.
Good review. Yep, I too think the book review idea is great. So for what it's worth, I would deffo be interested in your book reviews, even though I haven't read a non-fiction book in years LOL (just read uni books hmmmm). I will follow your reviews and see what's up get a book that you have positively reviewed. Actually, I'll start with The Handmaid's Tale for this winter break. So yeah, I'm all for you doing thse book reviews :) Peace xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ali :)

I just saw the film (1990) and liked it a lot, have you seen It? if so what was your opinion?

@TheKatieKupcakes thats really interesting, I must read the book some time. It reminded me a lot of Brazil (1984) and 1984 (1984)
Bingo! YES how many times can you legitimately line up 1984 in a conversation!
sorry, lost my train of thought a bit. Anyway check those films out if you see them anywhere, they are very scary but really good.
