it's not easter egg but encoding bug (save ANSI open Unicode?). If you try to open file with any other editor it will show normal text (ex. Notepad++, Hex Editor). Any character combination of 4+3+3+5 will give the same effect (ex. abcd qwe rty zxcvb)

Actually I've just been playing around with it some more and it seems some of the time it will convert it and some of the time it won't. Weird.

The reason is that notepad guesses what charecter coding that have been used. (ANSI, Unicode, UTF-8) If it fails to do this correctly it will mess up the letters. If you use open in notepad and select the correct coding it will open fine. You can also screw any other text up by selecting the wrong one of course.
