  • I think it's really cool that you seem to be getting into powerlifting lately. I remember first reading some of your stuff on BB.com almost 10 years ago and have always been really impressed by your effort and motivation. It's cool to see you challenging yourself in new ways all the time. Looking real strong too!

  • @xsergiogx They'll have better physiques for 5 years before they keel over and die from a heart attack. If your just going to workout to look good and you don't care what your putting into your body, fine. If your doing it for the ladies, its going to fail because your balls are going to shrink up into the size of a grape. Watch Bigger Faster Stronger. It's biased towards steroid use but if your really interested in it then you should do research before you take them. LOTS of research.

  • @moviemaker933 im not doing it for the ladies lol i would really want to compete and win and create the physique that i see in my head...and if ur smart with roids u wont have problems get a doc or some trainer to help u set up ur cycle.

  • @xsergiogx You can't get a doctor to help you in the states, I'm guessing thats where your from. They won't help because its illegal, and some trainers you can't trust.

    There are all natural competitions with some big guys in them. Regular body building does involve steroids, so if thats your thing go for it. But there dangerous. Your choice though, I'd just suggest doing lots of research before taking them.

  • Layne, how do you balance your bodybuilding and strength training? Do you go through cycles of Hypertrophy and then Strength? Or Split the days of the week?

  • to all the people bitching on his form i think its the angle of the camera which makes it look worst but if you'd notice, his back is at the same angle as shins, and he only has a slight lean when he breaks parallel which is normal especially when taking a rather narrow stance in power-lifing standards, so stop hating on lane , he's a strong natural guy who deserves a lot of respect

  • @Norton86mfc I take it you're being sarcastic. If not you should know you are mocking a drug tested, raw squat and deadlift US record holder at 220lbs. These are correct low bar powerlifting squats not some half ass sumo partial squats in a triple ply suit.

    Good workout :) How long are your rest periods btwn your sets of squats and bench? I'm thinking of starting sheiko 29, but I'm not sure how long I should take for rests in between each set :p

  • check your forward leaning on those squats... unless you are doing that on purpose.

    Also how do you hold it on your back like that?!?!

  • @2TheGuy2 It's called a low bar squats, he's not doing a high bar bodybuilding squat; he's going to bend over even with light weight.
