I was just in a bad wreck in my 06 Uplander and it saved our lives. We rolled several times and the whole back end was still full height when we stopped. My two young kids were in the back seats and they hardly had any cuts or bruises. My husband and I, in the front seats, walked away with cuts, bruises and a little glass under our skin. I know this car hasn't had good crash ratings, but ours sure saved us!!

@Vinivinilombardi We own one and I love it. I love taking trips with the family as it is a good highway cruiser. 70,000 miles with nothing but routine maintenance. 2007 model.

I heard, I'm not even from North America. I love to search about cars around the world, and I guess that one of the most shitty cars from the USA (I'm not saying that the Uplander is a shitty car) is better than most brazilian cars. My father has a Ford Fusion here in Brazil, and it costs more than a Lincoln Town Car or a Porsche Cayenne V6 in the USA. My mother's Tucson costs the same of an Expedition. Sounds crazy, but it's true and awful.

wow.. ou must realy love chevey if you'd rather die in one than drive anything else.. haha Calm down dude, they crash test for a reason. any chevey, ford, whatever has to pass the tests before they hit the streets so what ever is on the street is more or less good.. exept for the faulty ones that is.
