someone actually did and not just anybody, the new york retro disco duo In Flagranti. It's unreleased yet, but you can find it in some mixes online and theres also a 1 minute teaser here in youtube. The remix is massive and it makes a lot more sense then this original version which sounds like 2 bits of 2 different songs interposed to me :)
