If only porsche got the exterior to look as good as this GORGEOUS interior. Make no mistake the front of the Panamera looks fantastic, but the bulky back end ruins the whole car for me. I've heard it is an amazing drive though.

Just test drove a 120k Panamera at the Porsche dealer. Nothing touches the quality, handling, acceleration and sheer thrill factor in a 4 door sedan. Nothing.

i got to drive one of these yesterday, and i have to admit, it is the most comfortable car i've ever driven. It has amazing maneuverability, and I personally would have to compare the driving to that of a 911. The only downside to this car that I had was the rear visibility. Other than that, there is nothing I didn't like about it.

less ugly? definitely. IMO this car is beautiful on the outside. It doesn't look like your average porsche though. I think the porsche was trying to mix the rear of an aston martin with the front of a ferrari f430 with the interior of a caddy or a jaguar. As far as being weighty? I'll admit, this car is a brick. It is a very comfortable and confident weight though.  If you have ever driven the new dodge charger, I would compare the feel to that.

I saw a Panamera on the German autobahn recently and must admit that this is one of the ugliest cars ever produced. Looks like it was built in some russian junk garage or whatever. The rear is super ugly and the front some sort of a copy of the C6 Corvette.

this is the only downside i have seen so far on this car... if they manufacture this with all the "pseudo chrome" plastic bits they are goint to turn off even the fans of this car - remember the outrage with the Nissan 350z and its plastic acoutrments... completely obnoxious on an upper eschelon car. Porsche needs to replace all the "fake chrome" plastic bits in the cockpit with polished aluminum. THAT would be class. the plastic interior bits are going to sour the this cars innovative appeal.

Im really sorry, i dont want to offend you, but you dont know what you're talking about. THIS IS A LUXURY 4 seater, like bentley continental flying spur or masserati quatroporte. It is more luxurious than the S. It is quieter, more comfortable, has more space inside, has more comfortable seats and please dont compare a lexus to this, its not in the same league. Porsche claims it to be a tourer which implies,as I said before,that it will be LOUD.Also porsche claims it to be a sports performer,further strengthening the prospect of LOUDNESS!! Sport cars do make nice grunt, but not LOUD grunt. By loud i mean uncomfortably loud, which you said. As you can go and see, you said that engine noise makes Panamera uncomfortable. Which is not true. For example, CLS63AMG, its a sports saloon , with extremly powerfull engine and great handling, but its not loud! You can barely hear the engine inside.

man I would still recommend you buy a 911 and S instead.Another better way to spend this much money would be to wait a little longer till the rolls royce concept 101ex is released which will cost as much as the panamera.Rolls claims it to be the rolls for the "common man" (yeeaah ,why not?) because it will share some mass produced parts from the 7-series including the engine which makes it way cheaper(half as much as the regular phantom)!!!!!
