like joey said, changing the tension too quick isnt healthy for your gitbox. tune down a whole step first to D. Drop C on the E, repeat the process through B, and then to A. And its a good idea to turn the tuner knob slow and steady, keeping an attack on the string.

Just tune the the A string (5th) to an E. Play a song you usually would on standard tuning until it sounds like it. Then tune the low E string below A, then gradually tune up and strum until it sounds together with the A String (Tuned to E)

that'd be right, if it was in tune ha its fallen out because you went from standard to A ha, i advise playing in C for a day or two, then B a day or two then A and your strings will feel more comfortable, just a thought :)

The way you're tuning it is not only wrong it's horrible. Without using a tuner you're automatically not going to be in the tuning correctly next thing you need to adjust the intonation to going down to that tuning or everytime you hit a note it'll be sharper and flatter than the actual note which we can clearly hear by your playing in this video

Now theres a bow in the neck and ya have to adjust it to limit fret buzzing, you also have to check the intination of each string on the 12th fret harmonic to match the A tune you are tuned to to make the sound tight. Thats why you should own a second guitar because in order tune it again to E or D the necks truss rod needs to be loosened and retightened and the whole process needs to be done again. Going from E to A will eventually snap your strings from tuning and detuning. Please learn this.

you cant go strait from standard to A. well you can but i mean it will go out of tune by the time you finish tuning it to A when you hit the 6th string it will be out of tune, because the strings were to tight and they were pulling on the neck. now that you tuned down you loosend the strings and it brings the tension off the neck so its going to be all fucked up. so you have to tune it like 3 or 4 times with a tuner if you want to get it exact so the neck isnt done moving. just a tip lol

i know what happend actually when you tune down the tension on the strings is reduced... thats a given when tuning on the 12th fret to do your E you went sharp then the strings afterwards just went even sharper you prob ended with a c is you highest string or maybe even a flat C#.
