Mine's plays better. It's hardly laggy, and runs at a really good speed(always 30 FPS) Maybe you shouldn't play on XP... Unless you have a killer processor, graphics card and large storage...(the large storage space isn't necessary, but recommended)

If the emulator goes black (screen) after talking with oak and you character being shrinked then enter utility then cheats add new (remember to click on Action Replay DS and raw) put 020DE16C E1A00000 020D3FA8 E1A00000 this codes press ok then check the cheats and press ok and ill do fine XD

Copy and paste the games file into the BATTERY folder in your DS emulator folder, go onto your emulator, go into Config-Emulation Setup-The 6th box should say NDS Cartridge backup, click it and choose EEPROM 64k bytes, press ok, and click file, and reset cartridge and it should work. Hope I helped

in mine happens the same, y was about to defeat the gym leader and a pop up opens saying: Microphone wave error or smething like that, when i play too much it happens the same, even when i save, and i play too much the pop up opens and closes the game, and i have to start it all over. i think is just and emulator error, i wish someone could fix it.
